I think Cables absence was foreshadowed in the second movie, Cable isn't with DP when he does the time jumping. The reason the TVA doesn't go after DP while he is Wolvie hunting is because, wait for it, he is working for them. They gave him his suit and weapons right before that part. The characters are easy to explain away, Toad died in one timeline and was pruned in another. Looks the same but not the same. There is also another explanation, Mr Paradox has been doing unauthorized pruning. If this was to be the last time Hugh plays Wolverine I would have liked to see a bit of a different ending. End credits scene would be DP dropping Wolverine off at a bar where he meets Rogue for the first time

I don't think it's a stretch to imagine the TVA just watched Deadpool hop around, seeing what he was trying to do as opposed to sending more comrades to be slaughtered and I doubt that Wolverine was the anchor being of his universe, good point about Cable though - being tied to the X-Men as he is I think there could have been potential (I'm not a screenwriter or director however )
One thing I found strange was DP knowing of Alioth but not the Void

The only thing that doesnt make literal sense is Logan and deadpool being in the same universe. Colossus should be dead if he was in the Logan universe because Professor X killed all the Xmen. But it was supposed to be meta being that the Fox universe was going to die and deadpool was going to stay in the mcu.

Deadpool hops timelines with ease with no issues from the time variants authorities. euh yeah cus he kills them all in the opening act. don't forget its a rogue squad of the time variant authorities so they're numbers are limited, so it makes sense that they all were killed by deadpool

You see this is what I mean. All I hear is how great this movie was. Thst it was going to restore the mcu. But then you get those who actually critique it and you see that the movie is nothing more but a cooperate merger and a fan service movie.

Variants that get pruned by the TVA are not supposed to be there either thamey were supposed to die in their respective timelines like Loki (variant in Loki tv series) or not exist in their timelines like Sylvie (variant in Loki.

I don't think it matters if a character died or not when dealing with timelines. they could have been picked up before they died.
