I think the much bigger problem with Eddie is that when it comes to arresting white women, she does ANYTHING HUMANLY POSSIBLE to HELP them get off. She literally feels sorry for them and wants to help these people who've committed real crimes! Not just this last episode where she literally finds a lawyer for a woman that has just stabbed a man to death in his office (are you kidding me, but when some girl smashed up her own partner's personal vehicle because she was bitter over a breakup, she took the girl's side and, not only investigated the girl's background because she must be in some distress, but MADE her partner APOLOGIZE to the girl for breaking up with her. Not sure I've seen any of the black or latino arrestees getting any of this sort of consideration or treatment.

I like to point out she s the only spouse at the table. That s why I kind of wish they didn t kill off Linda Danny s wife there s no one really for Eddie to relate to about being part of that family and sometimes it looks like she s on the outside looking in to the relationships around her.

I wish Danny and Baez would get married although earlier in the season he said that he was attracted to another former detective we've never heard of or seen before
