Hey can someone clear up something for me. When someone says a movie has more sales are they talking dollar amount or tickets to see a movie.
If they're talkin about dollar amount it's not fair to compare newer movies to older ones since movie tickets are much more expensive.
It would make more sense to compare popularity of movies based on butts in seats.
I just want to make sure we're getting a fair comparison. Regardless of which movies come out on top.

It didn't blow anyone because it was, and is a total failure, and it has been losing money ever since. It will never have the style that Stallone brought to the movies. It's just a ghetto movie with some political background hype. That's it

Adjusted for Inflation, Rocky made over 500 mill domestic, with Rambo and Rocky 3 nearly 400.
Creed 1 & 2 were around 100 mil.

The storyline was somewhat realistic and relatable to what we see a lot today. Jealousy between friends that leads to extreme behavior. It was a great movie.
