The Best Movies Of Summer 2017
video description
-And I know it certainly wasn't Oscar-worthy by any stretch and had its cliche moments, but I also really liked The Hitman's Bodyguard, mainly for Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson. I knew immediately from the trailers that they would work really well together and be the highlight of the film, and damn was I right.
-Lastly, I know we all have differing opinions on these flicks (it appears Atomic Blonde and Wonder Woman especially, huh the two female led movies how strange ha ha, but can we all agree that these were all a hell of a lot better than The Emoji Movie? I mean really, Summer 2017 did NOT need that to exist, it's partially what brought it down.

My favorite movie was Atomic Blonde. Close behind was King Arthur Legend of the Sword. I know Looper quickly proclaimed the Guy Ritchie film a flop, but I think Looper was too quick to judge and too slow to see Ritchie's wondrous imagination at work and appreciate his hidden homages to LoR, Princess Bride, the Battle of Britain, & Crow. My third was Valerian, another Looper-declared flop on which I have commented at length already.
The masterpiece of 2017 likely will be Wonder Woman. If it has a flaw somewhere, I have no idea what it was.

Wonder Woman was incredibly overrated. The Cgi was terrible, it made the film look outdated and out place with the WWI parts. The action scenes were kinda corny because of its excessive use of slow motion that made it feel like a Zack Snyder film, also all the flipping and jumping she did just looked silly. None of the villians were good. Also The third act was terrible, the Ares reveal and fight with him sucked and Steve Trevors heroic sacrifice felt unearned. The only good thing about the film was Gal Gadot and Chris Pine.

Reading through the comments, you will see one person totally loving one movie, and someone else totally hating that same movie. they are both right. when you go see a movie, it is YOUR experience, whether you enjoy it or not should have no bearing on what others think. I see people getting angry because someone else did not like the movie they watched, who gives a crap? everyone has their own tastes, or expectations when they see a film.

I'm not gonna lie - I didn't like Dunkirk. I wasn't really a fan of the way that it jumped from one location to another and a little character development would've been nice but hey. Also, yes. I do know a good war film when I see it. I've seen Band of brothers and Kelly's heroes. Keep in mind by the way this is all my opinion! :)

I loved driver, so for me Baby driver was very enjoyable, I also liked atomic blonde because of the spectacular soundtrack and fight scenes.
Wonder women was not a movie for me, I thought it was a bit over the top, and I laughed so hard when I saw the main villians mustache, that was hilarious
