The John Wick franchise keeps raising the bar at the box office and reaching new heights with its stunts but there's one thing the series has never been able to overcome, until now. Warning: major spoilers ahead for John Wick: Chapter 4.
Oliver: Ah, but you overlook a key point - he did know peace. He knew peace when Helen was around, and she sent him the dog so that he did have something to live for after she was gone. Which is what bugs me about the ending. Not only does it mean that even beyond death, Iosef finished what he started, by getting John out of retirement in the first place. But far more important than that - is this the John that Helen would want him to be? Even if he dies with her name on his lips, he's lost her and she's lost him. He wanted out to be with her.
