wait this doesnt make any F sence dinsy! this is due to the fact moff gidion didn't have any force sisnitivty let alone enotgh force power to just crush and disable the dark saber! also very powerful dark side lightsabers can't just be disortyed by non force users like moff gidion! in realascly truly star wars lore arcuate way if moff gidon actaly did try crusing the dark saber the force denfisive feed back from the dark saber kiyber cristal would have fryed his brain from massvle dark force energys! yo disny do you not know how the dark side legnalry darksaber realy works! moff gidon should had his brain fried from just even toching the dark saber with the intent of disotying it! that alnoe would have been a death sentace! talk about very very p poor plot armour B ht

I can't say that I was necessarily attached or not one way or the other to the Darksaber theme, but I maintained up until the end that, if the Darksaber was going to matter at all, it wouldn't exist as a sole indicator of the Mand'alor, that it would be something that was seized by the Mand'alor in conjunction with riding the Mythosaur and both would be plot devices to unite the clans. Well. there goes that idea. I'm not sure how I feel about either one not mattering at all. I'm ambivalent about that conclusion, just like I'm ambivalent about a lot of this season.

Absolute horrendous season, all filler nonsense, could've been done elegantly in 3 episodes instead of all that filler stuff. Looked cheap (that climbing scene, OMG, was incredibly weak storywise and 0 character development.

It's only a plot hole if it's never address by the series end, we don't know how they will explain it next season or on another show. No need to jump to a conclusion.
