The Mandalorian's Season 3 Finale Battle Is Leaving Us Totally Confused

Did the rules change regarding this Mandalorian tool in the season 3 finale? Or is there an explanation hidden in plain sight? Paradoxx: I think the only discrepancy is Gideon being killed by some fire (that didn't even seem to affect anything else around him) while in ultra advanced armor. I just assumed it was an oblivious shot since he is coming back next season. Frankly, they've should have legit killed him off and let one of his force clones survive. Which I think is how season 4 goes. But it'll involve a Gideon vs Gideon fight

Fuel shouldn't be the primary issue if we're discussing feasibility. thrust / escape velocity is. Those puny jetpacks, the way they are depicted even in universe, could in no way achieve escape velocity to enter orbit. Ironman movies at least depicted his thrusters with the sufficient force you would expect necessary to achieve escape velocity. jetpacks in star wars move at a very leisurely thrust speed in contrast (far more believable actually as if you moved at ironman's speed the G force would kill them. but that same believable atmospheric speed should also make it utterly impossible for them to achieve orbit - for the same reason aircraft today can't reach space. it's not a question of fuel. it's a question of thrust output from the engines. And those tiny engines move too damn slow to achieve orbit. If they moved as explosively / fast as ironman does. then I could believe it.

Does it really matter? It s a fantasy tv show! I think now a days people take tv shows/movies WAY TO SERIOUSLY! Just sit back and enjoy the show! Don t try to think too hard about it! When I watch movies/tv shows I just enjoy it for what it is! I tell people that I ve never seen a bad movie/tv show, because I just go in to it to enjoy it, I don t think to hard about it it would just ruin it for me!

Rewatch the episoid the Spies at 18: 00 where Bo goes over the plan and she states the ships are stationed in atmosphere not space. Rebels have scenes using jetpacks in space (Ezera, Sebine, and Mandorians) and an atmosphere attach to Mandalore (Sundaire, same a the Siege of Mandalore from the last season of Star Wars with ashoka.

Different planets have varying levels of air density and gravity is different planet to planet in real life, so maybe this could be why? Since Mandalor had previously been thought to be inhabitable, maybe the air is thinner causing less drag and less need to burn fuel rapidly. Plus once he gets to outer orbit its different too?

This season has a lot of plotholes and shit that doesnt make sense but in that episode we dont learn that they can only carry then oher a very short distance. We learn that it's a limited distance and if you look at that episode again you can see that they were meant to have flown for a WHILE before running out of fuel

i thought you would cover the fact that Gideon says: ill take care of it (refering to mando) then literally hides in his base and with that completely lets Mando ruin his clone army.
Gideon was literally on the next room to the one he had walked away with fashion lol

What in actuality is a short distance? If a short distance is about 62 miles, then yes, space is possible. As much as they fly horizontally at speed, 62 miles doesn't seem outside the limit. Is there some canonical thing that says how far a jet pack can go?

The whole season was all over the place, no continuity at all. And this was after a two years of time in between seasons. I'm thinking that they put most their time and effort into the upcoming Ashoka series. Too bad. The season was a 5/10 for me

Just the scene where Carlos Esposito says I m going to take care of this myself like he hasn t learned that him going to eliminate a threat that uses a metal framed mobility item, can t speak, and presses buttons to indicate yes and no is a bad idea!

If you remember in season one when Din Djarin was flying after in his ship rescuing Grogu another Mandalorian was flying with his jet pack at the same level near the stratosphere, so it s possible to reach outerspace with one.

I thought it was clear to me that they didn't have full tanks when the kid was taken. Also I like the idea that The Children of the Watch's jetpacks were more cobbled together than the True Mandalorian gear.

I was thinking about this when I saw it the first time, I like your description of the Watches equipment vs mandalore-born, that is plausable

What a bunch of BS. People have got to Stop poking holes in everything. Why take all the enjoyment out of the movie/show? It s FICTION!

Okay so explain why the dark saber doesn t cut the ground when bo gets hit my moff and gets up off ground sword literally does nothing
