They never showed it but the defining outfit of the show was the white dress that Serena wore during the field trip to the museum where she dances in the fountain. That white dress in the fountain is the whole reason that Dan started the website Gossip Girl.

Serena and myself are very similar especially in terms of fashion so I have to admit wasnt the biggest fan of Blair or her outfits so Im a little salty that loads of Serenas amazing outfits werent in this like remember the cotillion outfit

As much as I love the clothes both girls wore in the show - the outfits they wore in Paris had no European flare at all, in my opinion, they were very American (nothing wrong with that, of course)
