You could add the new dating show the proposal to a second list. It's run like a beauty pageant where 10 women walk out with a bit of superficial info in evening gowns. A man behind a wall who can see them eliminates 3 on looks alone. The next round is swimsuits where they tell the man behind the wall a little about themselves, he eliminates 3. The third round is one question to each of the 3 girls left. He eliminates 1. Finally they get to see him and basically plead their case to a man who knows little about them and they know little about of why he should propose to them. He then proposes to one of the 2 left in front of the other one. So basically it leads to an engagement with less time together than the bachelor, I bet it's successful marriages will be even lower, which is actually hard to do seeing as how little marriages have come from the bachelor.

Norway had this Bachelor like show in which they told the girls the guy was super rich only to reveal to the 'final girl' that he was actually dirt poor.
There was a show in the UK like the Bachelorette in which the girl has to find out which of the guys is gay, if she wins they split the money (and get together, presumely) but if she gets it wrong the gay guy gets the money himself (or something like that, it's been a while. It is half dating, half money-winning-reality tv around the strangest premise ever.

I'm surprised Parental Control wasn't on here, because that one parents would find a date for the kid even if their kid is already dating someone. ESPECIALLY if their kid was dating someone they didnt like.

I can't say how happy I am to have never heard of any of these shows before. I thought this list would be something like The Dating Game or Love Connection episodes gone wrong.
