For those commenting about Christina Grimmie, understand that while Josh Kaufman won season 6, Grimmie was always the one that The Voice expected would become their breakout superstar; as much for how popular she was already up to that point. And what she was doing after the show proved how dedicated she was to making that happen; without compromising those qualities which got her there; even if it took her a bit longer to meet her goals. While 2015 found this indie artist stage a successful European/British tour, along with her boys from the band Before You Exit, it also saw her achieve a grand coup when Christina was brought onboard an environmental awareness campaign; performing as a featured artist on the single Love Song to The Earth; with people like Sir Paul McCartney, Sheryl Crow, Bon Jovi, and others. And in between all of that, she also built up an impressive portfolio of vocal tracks to be scored for future albums. In early 2016, Grimmie wrapped up filming for both an indie rom com movie called The Matchbreaker; where she costarred as the romantic lead, who sang jazz classics in a small lounge. Then she completed a quartet of music videos for her opus work; The Ballad of Jessica Blue before going off on the first of her two tours, the first with Rachel Platten, who helped Christina celebrate her 22nd Birthday at their Boston show. Sadly the second was almost returning a favor to Before You Exit, opening for them at various venues; the last being at The Plaza Live in Orlando, Florida June 10th, 2016.

So the contract deals the winners get are awful or what? seriously, the record labels don't even bother to promote their albums and the music videos are so cheap.
The X factor USA only had 3 season and Fifth Harmony was a success and now some of their member are having great solo careers.
The Four only had two season and Zhavia is doing very well even though she wasn't the winner.
American Idol had Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and Adam Lambert

We live in the era of constant distractions and ADHD. it is hard to stay relevant in the music industry when you win the Voice (or American Idol. or America's Got Talent, etc. Think about it, the Voice has two seasons per year. By the time winner of the Spring season starts touring, the Fall season has already started and fans of the show tend to forget all about the previous winner.

How did you not put RaeLynn in this list. She's by far top 3 as far as success goes. Her album Me hit # 7, and her 2nd album Wildhorse hit #1 Country Music, her song God Made Girls went as high as #7 and was Certified Gold. She's had 5 other songs also chart inside the top 50.

i gotta admit, melanie martinez is the only one of this list ive ever heard of (music wise. ive heard both crybaby and dollhouse, really cool songs. . so i guess she did make it quite big from the voice! nice to see!
