At the root of Sex and the City, its about the strength in female friendships. Were counting down the most heartwarming BFF scenes from the show that make us want to go hug our besties. Weve included the time Samantha defends Charlotte, when Carrie needs her friends after Aiden breaks up with her, when Carrie supports Miranda at her mothers funeral and more! Whats your favorite friendship moment from the show?

I don't think the people who are leaving comments about Carrie being the most selfish of the three watched the show at all. Carrie was literally the glue that held the four of them together. She's the one who is always there for each of them. Remember when Sam have Miranda her hair appointment, It was Carrie who encouraged her to do it after Sam was being a bit cold towards Miranda. She's the one who always tried to get all four of them together. And about her supposedly bullying Charlotte into giving her the engagement ring, tell me what kind of friend sits at an eatery and looks away while you talk about your problems? And as to her person, yes she was flawed. Yes she cheated on Aiden, yes she wasn't ready to marry him, yes she kept going back to Big. Judge her when you earn a badge for being perfect.

Everyone gives Carrie shit but let me just say this she made that show damn interesting and its realistic not every one is perfect we all have that friend that is bad in love who makes the same mistakes over and over and over again but deep down we know that they are good and that they are kind and that they will be there! She was there for Miranda during her labour and when her mother passed she was there for Sam when she found out she had cancer and she was there for Charlotte throughout her divorce. Lets not just focus on the negatives because humans are not perfect and it was the imperfections and the relatability of the show that helped in stay on the air for a very long time.

Shes not that smart. maybe the older fans of the show weren't as aware of details like the younger fans since they always brought up the same joke that Carrie shouldn't be able to have that apartment on her income when Carrie says in the very first episode that it's her grandmothers rent control pad to quickly explain that. They also allowed Miranda to continue to be perceived as intelligent which obviously isn't true. She named her son Brady Hobbes. And since she ended up actually marrying Steve later, for some reason NO ONE called her out on her son's dumbass name being Brady Hobbes Brady. DUMBASS lol

When the girls are on the bus home from Atlantic City and the question Who wants to play Old Maid? is asked and Samantha says, Aren't we? and Carrie finally gets her picture.
When Charlotte feels slighted that Miranda asks non-maternal Carrie to be Brady's godmother and Carrie, in turn, dedicates her book to Charlotte after seeing her look truly hopeful that Samantha and Richard might actually work out.

Carrie should have accepted the money from Big for two reasons; he was RICH! Him giving her that amount of money was nothing for him. Plus the way he kept jerking her around he needed to do something nice to help her. She was wrong to bullie Charlotte or even bring it up. Loaning that large sum of money to a friend is usually a bad idea.

Carrie hands-down bullied Charlotte into giving her the ring. She could have taken the moeny from Big. I think you should have included Aiden and Steve ALSO showing up at the funeral for Miranda's Mom. Neither had to go, but they did in support.

Ugh Charlotte in no way owed Carrie her ring. Carrie deserved to be dumped by Aiden and she deserved to lose her apartment when he moved out. I would have loved to see her forced to sell her Choos and Manolos and move into a room at the Y

The show also featured incredible male friendship moments that don't get enough attention and that includes with each other and the women in the show example Steve was at the funeral as well and I don't recall him being invited

I know it's from the movie, but I love the scene where Carrie is devastated after Big bails on the wedding, when Charlotte and Miranda are comforting her and Charlotte screams DON'T! When he tries to talk to Carrie.

The majority of girls hate Carrie and always say she is selfish. But i think Carrie is a great friend, she was always there for all of them. She is just dramatic and insecure but she was always loyal and caring.
reply

My best friend and I were watching #10 the other day, and I started crying and we just hugged each other. It was so touching. Unconditional friendship is what the show is really all about
reply

I'm not gonna lie carrie is the MOST selfish person in the show but with Miranda's pregnancy and helping miranda down the aisle during her mom's funeral and more things with the girls
reply

I love the 2nd to last episode of the series Sam says I'm gonna miss you, you cunt!
Charlotte cries again Ooh
Miranda says Wow even cunt didn't stop her
Love them

reply

always makes me cry in the first film when Carrie just goes to bed when they all go. on the honeymoon as she is so heartsick and samantha feeds her to make sure she is eating
reply

I feel like you gotta fix #4 because charlotte didnt give it willingly. Carrie shamed her for not offering to help from the get go and thats a lot of pressure
reply

1: 53 Mirandas word explain Carries character completely! Pathetic needy insecure victim willing to come for more everytime! I hate her role. She is the worst
reply

For me its hands down the scene where Big comes to Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda for advice when Carries went to Paris. Miranda says Go get our girl.

I'm getting emotional just re-watching these clips. I always felt at its core, this series is about friendship. One of my all time favorite series.
reply

A little late here. I did like the list but the Miranda - Carrie birth moment (when they are looking into each others eyes) was a soulmate moment.
reply

Someone help me my tits hurt and I dont think Im gonna get my period for another like 3 months but my boobs hurt bad. Someone tell me whats wrong
reply

I know samantha and carrie were supposed to be best friends but I always got the feeling that miranda and carrie had something special
reply

See back before the Carrie haters sucked all the fun out of the show it was all about friendship fashion and cosmopolitan's
reply

I wish you had of mentioned Samantha reactions when Miranda's mother died. That was a beautiful moment between her and Miranda.
reply

I am a good person but I have no friends. I wish I was one of the girls. But I guess they wouldn't like me either
reply

What about when Samantha gives her vibrator to Miranda's baby? That was the most touching moment of the entire series.
reply

When Carrie rushes to be with Miranda on New Year's Eve so she's not alone because she and Steve are seperated.
reply

Sam is a big hoochie mama, but she has a big heart. I would venture to say, the biggest of all the girls.
reply

May I just step in here and ask how much money does a ring cost that could rly matter in buying in apartment?
reply

Samantha and Miranda were the most adult friends. Carrie and Charlotte both lived in a fantasy world.
reply

say what you want about any of these ladies you cant deny they all would take a bullet for each other
