These songs have super disturbing and creepy lyrics if you listen closely. Weve included songs like Seasons in the Sun by Terry Jacks, Thirteen by Big Star, Run for Your Life by The Beatles, Brown Sugar by The Rolling Stones, Wrong Way by Sublime, He Hit Me (It Felt Like A Kiss) by The Crystals and more!

I am stunned Seasons in the sun is in the list when it's an empowering song about accepting death and moving on. It is sung in a respectful manner. You might as well add Bright EYES by Garfunkal because I found that despite how happy the song sounds is really depressing about it's about a near death experience from the viewpoint of a rabbit. Was my life a dream? Why does Heaven burn pale and the tunnel look like 2 bright eyes since rabbits see in 2 visions unlike our one. It's clearly a song about Death and what's this bunny is seeing after he's been shot. KIDS SING THIS SONG without understanding its context. THATS NOT DISTURBING?

How about Every Breath You Take (it's about stalking some girl, Jeremy (about Jeremy walking into class & killing himself in front of all the kids; Boomtown Rats's I Don't Like Mondays is about the same thing) & Janie's Got a Gun (about Janie killing her dad because he was molesting her) Alone Again Naturally (it's about a guy about to commit suicide after he gets jilted at the altar & his mother dies) -there should be a list of the stop 20 Creepy songs. there are SO many!

Where do you get the info for those videos? Is it based on facts? Did these song writers, and bands tell you what the songs are about? It is possible you may be right on 1 or 2. But music can be interpreted by each person differently. That is one of the wonderful things about music. If I was doing videos about songs, song writers, etc I would be certain to make sure its based on facts, and not opinion.

I find it creepy that there are not one song on this list that is about violence against men, despite that there are plenty of them. Just to name a few, Lady Gaga Bad Romance burning the guy, the same with Ava Max Sweet but psycho, burning the guy in the end (seem like a popular trend for a while there, Kim Carnes Bette davis eyes, they are slapping guys in the video.

Brown Sugar was actually written and preformed by Otis Redding, a black man, about a black woman he was once married to and how in love they were; if you want a creepy Doors song check out Riders On The Storm, there is a line that says Theres a killer on the road! His brain is squirming like a toad; if you give this man a ride your sweet family will die!

Where the wild roses grow and pumped up kicks used to be two of my favorite songs during childhood. Well, English isn't my mother tongue and I diddn't understand the songs at that time. They just sounded nice. When I found out about their meanings I was shooked and my childhood was distroyed.

Neil Diamonds song is about a young boy who loves a young girl, wants to be her partner but knows hes never going to be considered good enough for her. Its not a creepy song! We are allowed to grow up, have crushes, have heartbreaks, its not all creepy pedo stuff ffs.

Ringo Starr's You're Sixteen was a cover of a song from back in the '40s (I believe, and it was originally meant to show a young teenage boy's first love, for a young teenage girl. Maybe it was Ringo being an older man when he sang it, that made it sound so creepy.

I wonder if anyone feels a little creeped out by some lines in Eternal Flame by The Bangles? While that song is mostly beautiful the lines I believe it's meant to be, darling. I watch you when you are sleeping. You belong with me give me creepy vibes.

Umm I think the most disturbing was that Lemon Incest song. Nick Cave just had that song on an album called Murder Ballads. so yea that was not some hidden message. Henry Lee feat. Nick Cave and PJ Harvey is just as beautiful/creepy.

So nobody is going to mention Henery the 8th I am? That is really creepy, a guy that marries a woman who is mysteriously widowed to 7 guys before him and they were all named Henery, like she preyed on those guys!

Where the Wild roses grow is actually a very beautifully melodic song, if you treat it as a ballad. The voices and soft instruments are soothing, if you are not a person that gets triggered by the lyrics.

There was a father/daughter duo in country music in the 1970s-1990s called The Kendalls. Their biggest hit was a song called Heaven's Just A Sin Away. Uber creepy.

This a really good list. The only one I don't agree with is Seasons In The Sun because it's really not as creepy as it is dark and morbid.

I used to love blurred lines and animals when I was a kid!
Now I'm terrified of the men who wrote songs that are basically about rape
