If I were Sandy, I would dump Danny the moment I seen him acting like a jerk.
As for Sandys personality and life, I would of focused on my studies and make good friends who were going to be a good influence on me. I was this way throughout high school, and I am glad that I didnt start dating until three years ago. I became a lot better off in the long run on delaying dating until I was in my late 20s.
When Sandy and Danny were at the drive-in movie theater and Danny touched one of her breasts and kissed her without her consent, I wouldve Karate chopped/kicked him and reported Danny to the police for assault!
As for the movie How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, I definitely would of chosen the dream job over a relationship and waited a few years to be in a relationship with a man who was going to accept the fact that I was a career woman and love me for who I am. If he didnt like that, I would dump him in a heartbeat and move on!

Meet Joe Black and Elizabethtown don't belong on this list but again that is just my personal opinion. Elizabethtown is more my favorite than the other possibly because I am from Kentucky but also it has a more personal tone because Cameron Crowe based it on a real life moment of his father passing the same as Orlando Bloom's character. And yes Meet Joe Black is long but it is just so beautiful and makes the personification of Death easier for people who have that fear of death like myself.

All romantic movies are dissapointing.
Either it focus on so overdo plots, or create false expectations.
And worse, some send mixed messages like the notebook.
I guess one line of many of my granpa reflexions was right: love is not all mighty.

Call me mad but I loved Ben Affleck & Jenny Lopez as a couple very much. Gigli was awful though. And Madonna isn't helpless. She was great in Dick Tracy (1990, Dangerous Game (1993, Evita (1996. Final scenes of Swept Away were well acted by her too

I liked Meet Joe Black. There's something so charming about watching Brad's character make sense of all his new sensations for the first time. And the female lead conveys really well, that feeling of being swept away.

I don't think Romance was the focus in Elizabethtown. It's all about Drew not giving up. And Claire is a sweetheart for helping him. This movie is great and I will protect it for the rest of my life!

I actually like Down To You a lot. How Do You Know was absolutely awful. The romantic movie I actually cant stand is Shes All That. New Years Eve is like a remake of 200 Cigarettes that sucks.

Meet Joe Black it's not a romantic comedy but it's definitely a great film, I personally love it and it shouldn't be in this list. It is full of great characters and even better performances.

Whereas the rest of the movie is nothing to write home about, I really liked the Michelle Pfeiffer/Zac Effron storyline in New Year's Eve. I think it would have made a nice stand-alone film.

Can I just say, All About Steve is not a Roantic Comedy Movie. It is a good movie about loving oneself regardless of how much you are being odd or special. :)
