I defineltey understand #10 but if you look to other mediums like the tv shows you mentioned, short, canon movies from the creators, and the books, they have more characterization, there are also analysis's of some of the supporting characters moments throughout the first two movies, like Ruffnut and their actions, etc are thuroughly explained, and I'm sure some of the creators thought of that, but yes I do want more for them.

Am I the only person here that is a HARDCORE fan of the movies, but hates the series. I just think the production value is so much lower on the series, and to me it feels like Dreamworks wants to make more money out of the franchise with it. So I dont want characters of the series in the movie. It just wouldnt work.

As somebody who's read the books and pretty much knows the direction of this next film, I advise all people who have not read the books and don't know, to bring tissues to the cinema, and perhaps a supportive friend. Even the director cried when he read the script.

I hope they have a reunion set years later in a post credit scene or Hiccup telling his children about dragons with Toothless showing up for second, I'm defenitly gonna cry for a few hours after the ending of the movie. :(

The other charaters are more developed in the tv shows suh as riders of berk, defenders of berk and race to the edge. And not to mention the comics and maybe even game(s) if there are multiple games)
