The movie honestly sucks compared to the book.
So, Top 5 Reasons Not to Watch To All The Boys I've Loved Before:
5) They changed Kitty's age for almost no reason
4) It almost completely erased Lara Jean's love for baking, which is an important aspect of her personality.
3) They used an important plot point in the second book for the movie which just made it feel rushed
2) It cut out important parts of the book, namely Halloween, Christmas, and New Years
And, 1) The New Years scene would have a been a great scene, since it features Korean culture, which could have made the movie more interesting and culturally educational.
The only part of the movie I liked was the scene when Lara Jean and her dad were in the diner, and that was mostly because I liked how it (slightly) developed her mom and dad's relationship.

I just watched this last night. Although I enjoyed it, the chemistry between the characters missed the mark for me because there wasn't a lot of time spent between the two before the ski trip beyond two scenes; the party and the time spent at his house after dinner. I would have loved to see her at some of his lacrosse games. I needed more, and it saddens me that I didn't get it. Stiil, this is a good movie. I also knew who sent the letters the moment the first one was revealed.

I mean I really liked the movie but then when it was close to the end I was really disappointed by all the changes and how they completely changed the ending and order of events and kind of meshed in some things from the second book. Overall, the movie is ok but could not possibly compare to the trilogy. Honestly I didn't ship them that much which shocked me because I was literally grinning the whole time reading the books wanting them to be together.

It was good but kinda a let down because I'd read the books. Lara Jean is so different in the film, I feel like she lost some of her charm. Also it's kinda sad they couldn't get Korean actresses to play Lara Jean, Kitty and Margot.

I remember seeing the trailer before it came out, loved it, but had totally forgotten about it. Then as soon as I saw an article about it being released, I watched it immediately. It was so good. So adorable.
