Things to consider BEFORE having surgery.
Is it a visual reason - too big.
Is it to improve function - you cant breathe.
EVEN in my situation my surgery couldn't be considered GONE WRONG.
When I was 7 years old I had my first rhinoplasty. My face had to be reconstructed after a severe car accident. I've had 4 revisions since. At 18, 34 and 40 years old. These surgeries became a necessity due to the structural integrity failing.
What people do not understand is when a surgery is done the integrity becomes compromised. Making it less stable. Resources are limited to graphs. Theres a place behind the ear that can be harvested or the use of a rib. Last option from a cadaver. With each surgery comes a greater risk of failure. Not only does the structural integrity become compromised so does the blood flow. When the blood stops flowing, tissue die. We know what that means. part of the nose gets cut off. Goes away. Dead.
I am 53 now and I am in need of another revision. It'll be my 5 surgery, my 4th revision. Most noses generally fail at surgery #3.
I'll be 3 over the average making this next one an extreme risk for failure. but I gotta breathe!

if anyone is as shallow as their own skin its surely those nutbars Kardashians. i mean cmon vanity at its most destructive. from parents on down. such a superficial bunch of fake a$$ people. I have ze! ro clue why they are even famous. zero genuine personality. all for show. for others. and to be on constant competition. what a depressing life they must have. oh sure they have money. but people are more than their possessions. well. real people are. i think they look pitiful really. truly never happy with anything. because they have everything money can buy. but none of the things that provide true happiness and self happiness! when they lose those fake things they fall into deep depression and cannot cope with the most mundane things such a shallow bunch!

She was so beautiful before all the plastic surgery!
If you look at her photos from the 90s and compare them to later years, she doesn't even look like the same person anymore!
It hurts me that all these celebrities ruin their faces just because of their own insecurities.

It's not to make yourself feel better it's to impress others, like breasts to impress men to make other girls envy etc, if you had to live on an island for the rest of your life with everything you need and no one around you telling me you'd travel into town for plastic surgery no you wouldn't coz theres no one around to see you

Heidi Montag -- says now it isn't worth it--after she has had surgeries all over her body--now she says its not worth it. Not how she felt before and I'd be willing to bet she wouldn't want her old body back. Jennifer Grey--big mistake. She was really cute before, even with her old nose. After surgery she just looked ordinary.

it's so sad that anyone should feel that badly about their appearance - body dysmorphia is so much more prevalent than most realize
edit: not to say that there's anything wrong with plastic surgery if someone really wants it but it should be for the right reasons (and I doubt it's something I'd ever do personally)

NONE of these people look better AFTER plastic surgery unless they WANT to look plastic. leave your faces/bodies alone - none of you look good afterwards! You were all genetically blessed so don't buy into the myth that this will keep you looking young, you end up looking weird.

Videos like this are so important. I support plastic surgery, but so many of us have body dismorphia, so it's important to think it over for a few years. So glad my parents could not afford it, otherwise my lips, nose, and boobs would be done, but I wouldnt like it now

The last one was the most interesting, because you can see why she had a problem with the way she looked, and actually, the plastic surgery went well, but unfortunately, she lost what had been her trademark look in the process, so it ruined her career.

I know that the list was about having the most regrets, but #1 wasn't bad. It's like Rene Zelwelger (i know i spelled it wrong) she looks good but she looked different. Just sucks the pressure they must feel but aging gracefully should be considered ok.

Jennifer Grey actually looks lovely. It was just a drastic enough change to make her almost unrecognizable and weirdly ended up hurting her career because she lost her look. If she wasn't an actress, it would have been considered a success.

In my opinion a lot of women have had breast enlargements they didn't need they looked fine before. If they did it to make themselves feel better that's good for them but I don't think massive obviously fake breasts make anybody look good.

I really hated what Jennifer Grey did to herself with the nose job. It's almost as though she had a form of liposuction that sucked all the interest and personality out of her face. She was so cute and unique and she because mundane.

Seems to me Jennifer Grey looks better now than before. The number one should have been Meg Ryan. If she doesn't regret her surgeries, she is nuts. She used to look really, really cute. Now not at all.
