I wondered the new Reboot, Will have the characters duck and roll when bullets is flying around while they are sitting at the stairs at The Met. Matter of fact, every 10 minutes. Avoiding, human waste on the streets. Being jump by the homeless. Having their high fashion stores being smashed and grab, maybe boarded up. Not opening for business. Watch militants, like BLM and Antifia take over NYC. Maybe your new rich friend is BLM, who brought that expensive Condo next to Blair Waldorf. Watching their very wealthy friends leaving in record numbers going to other very wealthy Cities, like Florida. Yes, this reboot It will be very successful. Just stay away from reality and the show will do so well.

Personally Im not excited about this at all. this looks like a cheap juvenile and woke cringe version of the original. It lucks everything that made the original great. It was unique, fresh and bold, this is just trying to be a marketable version of what the original Gossip Girl was but for today. Lets not pretend we didnt see what happened with the Charmed reboot. just let a good thing rest. The only acceptable version is the one with all the original characters coming back for a final season. Thats not it.

Well now I am not, thought since a reboot, it would take a new spin on the characters from the original. And not the case here, though do like that they have more diverse personalities now. And he in the tv series, Charles was fixated on Blair but in the books, he did play for the other team. And hey for all we know, Bell really could have been Gossip Girl. And since it is done through a social media account, it could easily be found (all someone has to do is hack it and find the IP.

I'm really excited about this reboot. I know it probably won't be as good as the original, but the fact that the show is being run by the same people, has added more diversity, and actually seems cognizant of the OG GG's weaknesses makes me hope. It think there is great potential here. :D

The whole thing looks inferior but Im excited to give it a shot. I just feel like theyve tried too much to be diverse and updated. Like too woke. The sparkle is lost for me rn but since its made by all originals im here for their attempt!

From what I remember from the books Chuck was never supposed to be with Blair and was supposed to be a gay character and I'm not sure why they felt the need to change his character.

I'm excited for The New Gossip Girl because of the diversity it has and the HBO budget it will have. With HBO at helm I expect the Quality to be good.
