I don't remember the season or episode number but it was the episode where Hotch profiles the defense attorney when he's on the witness stand. Spencer realizes the father of the girl the serial killer killed brought a gun and intends to shoot the guy when they walk him out of the courtroom. He heads the father off and has an awesome conversation with him and talks him out of it and takes away the father's gun without arresting him. At the end he brings the father a piece of the girls jewelry with an inscription on it. He then recites the entire poem that the line is from and leaves the father with closure.

One of my favorites is the moment in the season 4 episode Masterpiece where Spencer figures out the Fibonacci sequence thing and then storms into the room to grab the unsubs necklace and tell him that he knows how to find the hostages.
That whole episode had some really great Reid moments though with him talking about all his degrees and telling the philosophy joke that no one laughed at and then when he calls out the whole fandom by saying I never have any normal fans

I think one of Reids best moments is in the season 3 episode Tabula Rasa with his relationship with Mr Corbett I mean the fact that he goes to talk to Spencer and not Hotchner says something and that he was the one who comforted him after finding his daughters body and theres the fact he knew what Mr Corbett was planning and was able to talk him down was amazing and Im glad we got to see some flashbacks to when Reid was starting out in the BAU

Pretty solid list, but I think it lacks the one from The Uncanny Valley (season 5) where Reid absolutely verbally eviscerates a pedophilic kids' psychiatric by deducing how he raped his victims and then used toys to cover his deeds. The way he does it, shutting down a smug little ahole who was thinking himself way smarter than he really was is really one of the highlights of this character, imho

Actually finishing the start of puzzle is what are the best things a person can do the star puzzle actually takes time and skill and luck it actually shows that he is a actual leader above everybody else and he puts himself above everybody else Detective hawk might be the leader but Spencer is the backbone and the integrity of a group

The Episode where the unsub dresses the women like her dolls. The father had given his daughter electroshock treatment just to erase the memories of his abuse on her. Reid faces off with the dad as the dad tried feel superior b/c he was a Doctor (an MD) & Reid to him was just a PhD. The way he goes off using his smarts, just got me!

The only dumb part about the anthrax episode was that when reid had cut himself it was revealed as this big omg he's gonna die type thing, despite the fact that early in the episode the doc explains she not worried about the skin but the lungs.

I love Spencer! I was socially awkward in school with undiagnosed depression and autism so seeing a character that's like I was as a kid showed me I could do anything (not saying Reid has Autism, it's the socially awkward part I identify with)

Kind of wish there was a mention of the episode where he and JJ got into a fight, passive aggressive Reid was brutal especially after he pulled the 'Jennifer' line on JJ. Honestly wish they would have kept that around for a few episodes.

the saddest fiction moment ever for will be when Diane kills Mave. i will never be able to explain why this one ripped my heart out, except for the fact that we meet another person that we alone can understand, and understands us.

Him and Penelope are the heart of the team tbh. Her brightness along with his innocence despite their gloomy job always lights up every situation they are in and I think that is a really important balance in a show like this

Mine is when he gives that girl her dolls back, or friends as she called them, and she cried because she was so happy to have them back and he promised that no one would ever take them away from her again

I loved watching Reid grow up season to season. His innocence remained while his maturity flourished. This being amply demonstrated with, I am calm, and it's Doctor. Along with many other situations.

I agree, Reid and JJ are the ultimate best friend duo in Criminal Minds. Garcia and Morgan are amazing - innuendo and flirting galore - but JJ and Reid dont need any of that.

He was my favourite. I was worried that he would be different after being in prison, however he was still sweet clever Spencer but with a bit of an edge

Maybe next time watchmojo should make a top ten Reid's almost died.
Cause i couldn't count how many times his life had been threatened.

My favourite all time Reid line is ' This is calm and it's doctor'. It's as badass as it can get with such a collected pose.

I was disappointed that Morgan never came back in the end, and that Reid never got like a real relationship.
