I dont think its fair for people to define what too young is in this sense. Some of these people just didnt take the time to really get to know each other or realized it was really hard in the spotlight. Sometimes people who are in their 40s have also been married for super short times or multiple times. Sometimes age isnt entirely what determines maturity. My parents married at 19 are have been married 35 years. It depends on the people, maturity, AND how well they knew each other. Plus how compatible they are and how much they are respecting of each other and willing to put them first.

Hey MsMojo, my parents were married at 17 and 18 and i was born the same year thirteen years ago. I have two younger sisters and we are a very happy family. I agree that u are allowed to have your own opinion, but i think its a bit impertinent for you to say that these people are getting married too young.

the problem is not that these people married to young it's because they feel that they are so in love and are not prepared for married life and the difficulties that come with it. If you REALLY want to get married super young you really need to think about it!

just because you married young doesn't mean it won't last forever. My grandma ran away with her boyfriend at 16! because her parents didn't like it, and was married for 54 years. My grandpa died of cardiac arrest, and she never married anyone else since.

In most states you can marry at 16 IF you have parental consent. 18 is the legal age to marry almost ANYWHERE.
