It's ridiculous how much Ben and Leslie are my actual relationship goals. Like early season Leslie Knope, I'm at the stage where I'm starting to consider local politics and Ben Wyatt is legitimately everything I'd want in my husband- he's my type of nerdy hot, his nerdy interests like the fact I may or may not write fanfiction and talk way too much about Twin Peaks, he's level headed and pragmatic while like Leslie I dream big but get caught up in my own enthusiasm, he supports Leslie in following her professional dreams even when it clearly broke his heart, he's kind and cares about his friends (early on he dumped Tommy Fresh in Feinsteins car for example) and I could go on.
I wish Ben Wyatt was real because he's my ideal husband.

The last time I was this obsessed with a tv-series couple was 5 years ago, while watching Brooklyn 9-9 (really loved Jake and Amy. And now I can't stop rewatching Ben and Leslie clips. I also like to point out a couple more moments: when Leslie defends Ben in Partridge and steals that key, calms his panic attack (triplets episode) supports his decision to go to Washington or run for Congress, Ben punching that jerk for insulting Leslie, or admitting that he never wrote a concession speech, or introducing Leslie to Joe Biden. Now I wish I had a relationship like this.

An overlooked foreshadow was when in Season 3 Soulmates Leslie gets matched up with Tom in this Online dating thing because Tom made 26 profiles each designed to attract a different type of girl and she was paired with the Nerd account. Ben just happens to be nerdy.

Leslie and Ben are basically very VERY exaggerated versions of my best friends. Right down to the scrapbooks and waffles, and he designs board games just like Ben did with Cones and like-yeah. I love Ben and Leslie.

One of my favorite episodes is their first valentine's day where Leslie makes up a million riddles for Ben to solve! She even puts a clue on the bottom of Ron's shoe haha ugh I love this show
