You guys do realise THIS ISN'T A LIST OF BAD MOVIE SEQUELS. This is a list of movies THAT DID NOT NEED A SEQUEL, prequel or reboot either bc the first movie was good enough or just really really bad that a sequel was pointless. So, they're not trash talking Mama Mia or the unreleased prequel, they're just saying a prequel/sequel is unnecessary bc the first film already had good closure like Grease. I know Mojo is full of crap but cut em some slack or pay attention at least.

I actually enjoy the first Fantastic Four movie. and the first Ghost Rider.
and where are The Mask ( Son of the Mask is a huge trainwreck, the Bayformers films ( the 1st Transformers was watchable I guess, but every sequel gets more & more idiotic, the Michael Bay TMNT reboot and Cars ( I really don't get the appeal. how the hell did it get 2 sequels and a spin-off? ?

Some of these movies, it was no surprise they got sequels because of how big they were, like Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Dirty Dancing, and Deuce Bigalo was at least decent (the first one anyway. It was just that the sequels were so bad! But yeah, everything else on the list, including the honorable mentions, it really was inexplicable that they got sequels.

And then there was the movie Kim Catrall would like everyone to forget, Mannequin. She was smart enough to stay away from the sequel, Mannequin Too: On the Move, which Kristy Swanson would rather we all forgot. Somehow Mesach Taylor survived both of these to land a good role on Designing Women.

Let's hope the people who posted this aren't film producers, Mamma Mia is not even out yet and the reviews are great. The Rocky franchise was one of the most prolific in box office history and Grease 2 is a cult classic, but well done for nailing 40k views with this trash.

I Loved both Grease and Grease 2, Satday Night Fever and Staying Alive I watched because of John Travolta big fan I liked Ghost Riders two movies, What made Dirty Dancing was Patrick Swayze WOW what an amazing actor and singer, Mamma Mia Great Music for ABBA Fans
reply

Grown Ups did not need to be on here. Now Dirty Dancing 2, Grease 2, and Staying Alive fits perfectly on here because all I needed was to watch them once and no more. I watch the Grown Ups movies every time they come on

Mamma Mia Here We Go Again is a great movie. The only downside is that they didn't get Meryll Streep for more than two minutes at the end. Great movie though. All the songs were great. Then again I am an abbamaniac.

What about highlander that was only meant to be a one off film as everything was wrapped up in the first movie then we got three atrocious follow ups of cause highlander 2 being one of the worst sequels every made
reply

I actually really like Sharknado. I like watching all of the bad gory scenes. And seeing people just standing there staring at it going huh. Would ya look at that. Definitely makes a good t shirt

Grease 2 was originally going to be the gang at summer school (hence when the coach says should have gone to summer school) but one of the crew(director I think)didnt like the idea of it
reply

Mamma Mia should not even be an honorable mention. I love that movie. Grease 2 would have been much better if the original cast had been it. I found that movie to be very underwhelming.
reply

they mixed up the labels lol. the first one was daddy day camp and the second one was daddy day care. I feel like they make this same mistake in a lot of their videos
reply

Exellent movies don't require a sequel. Sequels are made by people with greedy fingers who usually line their pockets at the expense of the hopeful fans.
reply

Honestly, the first Baby Geniuses wasnt that bad. It wasnt good, but it wasnt bad either. It was one of my sisters favorite movies when she was little lol
reply

Im the weirdo who actually likes havana nights better than the original dirty dancing. But more like a standalone then an actual sequel
reply

Generally if a movie makes a lot of money a sequel is at least a possibility unless the entire cast is dead at the end.
reply

I don't care what you say, Big Momma's House 2 and Big Momma's House 3 are good and funny movies to me. Enough said.
reply

Grease 2 was better than the first one and so was staying alive first video of Ms Mojo I dont really agree on
reply

Say what you want! I loved grown ups 1 & 2. Besides one character. They kept all the originals and Cameron Boyce.
reply

Caddyshack and American Graffiti, LDO. And if you're including Grease, then Saturday Night Fever slides right in.
reply

Any horror movie never should of had sequels or more movies. Since horror movies are crappy to begin with.
reply

I liked Mamma Mia's sequel. If nothing else, it made me found out more ABBA's music beyond the biggest hits.
reply

Wait, is Mamma Mia an honorable mention because it sucked or because it was too good? THE WORLD MUST KNOW!
reply

So you're saying that Saturday Night Fever, a really dumb movie, gave Travolta credibility? Whatta joke.
