I see a lot of people defending Ted which helps proves that people will easily believe and think better of you if you are the main character.
Heres the ranking for best people in the friend group of HIMYM
1: Marshall (obviously, worse thing hes done is psychological torture Barney with The Slaps but Barney brought that on himself so cant really fault him)
2: Barney (surprised you shouldnt be hes one of the best people and unlike everyone else hes actually got a messed up childhood and backstory which helps you realise why he acts in evil ways at times)
3: Robin (she is in fact a pretty crazy she has done plenty of extreme and moral things. But shes also pretty good most of the time)
4: Lily (violent, controlling, steals from people to punish them and broke up with Marshall to follow her dreams sticking him with the bill for the wedding dress and everything else. However when he isnt doing these evil things shes a pretty good person)
4: Ted Mosby (broke up multiple couples, dumped a girl on her Bday, lied and cheated on his girlfriend, abandon girls for drunker girls inside a club, bought expensive things using someone elses tab, punched Barney in the crotch seriously thats completely not ok unless you are fighting for your life you should never attack another dude in the crotch. Is obsessive about find the one never learns his lesson, oh he also date one of his students which is highly unethical and probably more)

2- it was kinda cute when he threw 3 parties just so robin would come. Marshall didn't need to take part on those parties, he could have locked himself on the bedroom and studied

The only ones that make sense are 10 (which Im surprised isnt higher, 3 and 1s both scenes (which made me despise Ted at their moments. The others are just an overreaction from a feminist fanbase (especially 4 and 2)
P. S. I think Ted had the right to destroy the arcadian especially since it was his first big project and Zoeys defense was purely nostalgic and without any logic since it was no longer a landmark in that condition, and what things more favorable toward Ted (for me) is Zoeys betrayal by keeping that tape and using it against him

And then marshal plus I love marshal and teds college vid especially the first time in the fiero ted did so much for marshal and lily. agreees to be wingman for Barney, everytime cheers up Robin when she is sad. the only problem is the should have ended with the Tracy and ted happy ending. Letting go of robin would have been the best thing then.

Honestly about Robin getting rid of her dogs thing, she told him to be honest with her but then when he told her the truth she got upset and him asking Robin to get rid of the dogs was fair because she forced him to get rid of EVERYTHING so if he has to get rid of everything for her then so does she and he talked badly about Lilly to make Marshall feel better and Lilly was being a grinch and even at the end of that episode she admitted it herself

There should be a list of times when Barney was the worst on How I Met Your Mother because theres a lot of things Barney does that make him either just as bad as Ted or perhaps worse than Ted. Hopefully theres a good list about both Barney & Ted because 1 good thing Barney does is warn Ted that you cant turn a No into a Yes. 1 good thing Ted does is try to help Barney during his relationship with Robin.

I hated Ted because hes a pusher. Every woman he ever perused did not want the life he wanted, and he kept forcing it on them. Then he would complain about what went wrong. The only person who wanted almost what Ted wanted was victoria, and the girl who kicked him in the face and he screwed them over every time he could. Then he just has every bad quality Ross does.

Ted is borderline Sociopathic. He was interested in compromising with Zoe until he found out she was as married. Manipulated Stellas assistant to get to her. Robin was out of line asking Ted to get rid of his stuff too. I didnt like the character of either of them in that episode. I would get rid of a girlfriend before my dogs, and I would refuse to get rid of my stuff that I still use without any replacement of equal or greater value just because who gave it to me makes my girlfriend uncomfortable.

I'm currently re-watching the show for YYth time and all I can say, I wish Ted humiliates an Asian girl named Cook Pu was included. It was disgusting watching how Ted and the gang were making fun of a girl just because of her name. And I don't care if Cook Pu has a different meaning in English, it was a terrible joke.

I personally agree with a lot of these times when Ted was the worst. But the time when Ted dumped Natalie on her birthday twice shouldve been #2 or #1. Ted does, however, make up for most of these mistakes on this list. Ted may not be perfect, but at least he makes up for almost every mistake he makes in life.

Cmon, how is him not knowing much about Stella his fault, that depends on the dynamic of their relationship, and that could be the fault of Stella, or both of them, I don't think it was Ted's fault, it's not like when you're In a relationship you casually ask everyday basic questions about your partner.

It bothered me that Ted broke up with Natalie after 2 weeks because he wasnt in love with her. 2 weeks? Seriously? If you did love her after 2 weeks then something is wrong with you. Give it a couple months anyway, see if you grow fonder of her, if not break it off then (not on her birthday.

the thing about victora is she was going to break up with ted for that german guy which ironically she maybe randomly(would have been better if she called him up) decided to leave for ted later on and then actually gave ted a choice of robin or her.

Only 3 and 1 were really bad because he actually hurt people there. All the other 8 were just nitpicky. And the 2 minute date was great and a gesture that Stella didn't deserve considering how she treated him afterwards.
