I REALLY want to be excited about 'Hercules, ' but knowing how Disney completely fcked up 'Newsies' and the English stage adaptation of 'Hunchback of Notre Dame' by completely rewriting them ('Hunchback' they finally gave up on ever putting on Broadway, coupled with how abysmal the live-action movie remakes have been, I have very little hope that 'Hercules' will end up being any good. Given Disney's track record on adaptations lately, the only thing that will remain of 'Hercules' will be the songs, and just like with 'Newsies, ' the original movie versions will still be the better ones. :(

If Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz come back to compose princess bride I will be so happy. If it goes to Broadway they can just turn some of the most iconic lines into songs. That would be so cool! Also Hercules! Hercules is a good one and I would love it to go on Broadway! The music is so good! I think it is seriously Broadway material!

Is it kind of bad, being one of the biggest theatre kids there is, that I just realized Winona Ryder was in beetlejuice as well as Veronica in Heathers. Thing is I only usually care about the musicals not really the musicals, and I was like freaking shocked when I saw Winona at the start in beetlejuice lmao.

The Devil Wears Prada could literally have been a musical since the beginning because of the actors in the movie haha. It's one of my favourite movies ever, the Rockwell adaptation was really good and I'm so excited to see the Broadway adaptation!
