3 references from the first season: the first episode Lemony says the fire spread so quickly that the fire department and the Volunteer Fire Department couldnt arrive in time. Later when Klaus is exposing Olafs plan to marry Violet, Olaf says I was looking for the sugar bowl. The third reference is when Lemony is explaining hypnotism and says for instance, one man at the word Nero could suddenly play the violin perfectly, a reference to Principal Nero playing the violin.

Ive watched so many Easter egg videos but not a single one points out the Bombinating Beast statue. N O O N E H A S P O I N T E D T H A T O U T E V E N T H O U G H I T I S O N E O F T H E M O S T P O W E R F U L W E A P O N S E V E R V F D. That was a code. Try and decipher it. Its quite simple and not much of a code But still kinda cool right?

You missed an Easter egg in S2!
When Larry is in the freezer, Jacquelyn calls him and says you seem cold, are you in the mountains? We aren't due there till the end of the season
Edit: I'ma try and name all the V. F. D names I can
Vain Fashionable Diva
Vastly Frightening danger
Versachi float dogs

Hey guys if you're still out there
remember when klaus said that he remembered his birthday and violet remembered hers in the submarine and sunny remembered hers in the crow village and then the episode the end they said one year later
SO VIOLET WAS 16 AND KLAUS WAS 14 AND SUNNY WAS 3

reply

The only reason I know Ishmael in the book from Herman Melville is because of watching Matilda too many times and at the end she reads one of Herman Melvilles books I cant remember the title tho so anyways she reads the first semtence and says Call me Ishmael so yah
reply

9: 56 this is also a reference to I'm pretty sure at the beginning of the nickeledeon movie its starts with an elf in littlest elf land. and then they say 'if you think this is a happy story about an elf you've come to the wrong place. ' and so on
reply

Another one is that in The End, one of the items that is washed up that a person on the island shows Ishmael is a black seahorse statue. It is the nominating beast from another series of books Lemmony Sniket wrote called All the Wrong Questions
reply

The actor of Carmelita did so excellent! She played a role of a monster but she had so much expression. Shes actually adorable to me, I hate Carmelita because usually people will, but Kitana did a great job on acting her.
reply

I cried at the end because count olaf died and that meant the story wat over, but I still want more seasons. I absolutely LOVE a series of unfortunate events, I'm gonna rewatch it so many times
reply

fun fact the part right after lemony talks about the root beer float if you pause quick enough on the magazine the spy is holding it shows that Mr. Po's wife was sent to jail for false news
reply

Makes me sad that there was an unfortunate event we missed, after they sail from the island at the end they encounter some pirates, it wouldve been fun to see an episode of this
reply

one very minor easter egg that I noticed was that at the end of the vile village part 2 when the baudelaires are driving away in the fire truck you can see the vfd eye in the sky
reply

Its funny because both will arnet and cobie were both born in Canada lol. but I'm still disappointed that we didn't see them in the end Guess thats just not how the story goes.
reply

You missed the references of the tempest of Shakespeare, the surname of Olivia is Caliban like one if the caracters, and in the play, there's one mind behind all, like Ismael.
reply

I dont think Jeromes new partners is Charles, because at the end of The Miserable Mill he said he is leaving the lumber mill to find a better job. So Jeromes partner is Sir
reply

9: 59 pause and look carefully it had the lucky smells lumber mill book but best of all if you look at that red book it looks exactly like the covers of the asoue books!
reply

Count Olafs deaths as so confusing. Like throughout the whole series you want to see him defeated, but when he dies, you feel so sad. They played that REALLY well.
reply

Anyone else so sad that Dewey died because same. Max Greenfield (the guy who played the triplets) is one of my favorite actors I wish he was in more of the show!
reply

this might be my eyes tricking me, but i saw an asoue book in the vile village on the self sustaining hot air mobile home (yes i edited to add one letter lol)
reply

I also noticed that in the Hostile Hospital one of the signs for the directions was Terrible snake bite or something like that, hinting to Montys death
reply

I gave this a because you got some things wrong. The parents that are shown throughout are not the Baudelaires parents. They are the quagmires parents
reply

Its so interesting all those Easter eggs on the island like that crow fountain how the hell would a big heavy fountain get washed up like that?
reply

I think the Babs and Jerome one is referencing how in the books it was mister sir, Charles, Nero +the teachers were in the hotel.
reply

Im I the only one to notice that Gustav and Dewey both got shot by something said there last words and fell into a pond?
reply

I am watching this in 2021 and I will that they will come out with a season 4 and 5 of A Series of Unfortunate Events
reply

by the way Ishmael's line I'd prefer not to is also a quote from Melville. Not Moby Dick but Bartleby the scrivener
reply

with the washed up stuff, the birdcage is the same one than Sunny was held in in the slippery slope/the bad beginning
