Absolutely not to sound entitled, but. I find any actor who hates the role that made them a thing to be shameful (theyre allowed to have a career after that, its just that theyve got a boatload of nerve if that role has a fan base, its a betrayal of fans that have been there in support of them from the beginning, The first role they wouldve wanted for themselves in retrospect isnt the one they get (there might be instances of first roles they wanted not being all its cracked up to be, but thats beside my point.
In case youre wondering why am saying this now, believe me, you do not want me to stuff you down that rabbit hole.

I had this thought that Blake Lively was a snob and a prissy, and from what I can see here, I was right all along.
1. Serena Van Der Woodsen made her popular.
2. It she can't understand her character, then I don't know who would or could do it. Unless it provides a clearly bad example, let's say it's a murderer, an actor should defend his/her character more than anyone else. Serena wasn't perfect, but she wasn't one of the worst either. She was also very young when she did most of those things, and had various issues.
P. S.: you should have added Zac Efron on High School Musical to the list.

Blake Lively as Serena never matched up to me. I read the books before watching the show when I was younger and Serena was kind of opposite of how I imagined Serena. Which talking to the few people who read the series have also felt the same way. Which I'm not saying she is a bad actress, because she is a good actress but Serena's character wasn't a match for me.

Denise Crosby didn't hate Tasha Yar, she hated the way she was being written in season 1. She was never really given any meaningful story arcs or character development, which is why she left the show. she even happily reprised the role in later seasons
also, David Boreanaz kind of hates Angel and David Schwimmer hates Ross Gellar.

Mandy Patinkin hating his character Gideon on CM was just cry baby stuff - like Joe (Rossi) said in an interview did u not real the title on the script? Pleads emotional distress and that his soul was raped by all that violence - and then turns up on Homeland! Give me a break- lost respect for him over that
reply

I dnt think they hated their roles I just think they feared chanelling these characters for so long would some how change how they saw life n their actions or maybe become offended because writers gave them certain parts that they thought they would fit so they struggle to be real to themselves

Buffy's attitude in season 6 was annoying (though understandable, but it gave us Spike/Buffy as a couple. _ Yes, it was more toxic than romantic in season 6, but it deepened in season 7. Of course, season 6 gave us the musical, and I love Tabula Rasa, so the season wasn't all bad.

Katherine Heigl didnt hate izzie. She hated the writing. She feels like there is no development for her character. Well, following grey's anatomy now i feel like all the actors hate the writing. Its lost the magic and always running in circle.

I dont really think penn's statement means he hates playing joe. hes just recognizing that joe is an obviously dramatized, very scary play on a real type of person. And honestly if he did love joe, we should lock him up

Criminal Minds isn't that dark. right? I think there's waayy darker shows out there. Plus it's about actually CATCHING the bad guys so how dark can it get. They never actually kill people themselves, like in Dexter

so most people hate their jobs thats fair enough, but most of us dont get paid hundreds of thousands or even millions for doing our far worse jobs that these cry babies. the arrogance is incredible.

I wish Sheilene would explain why she didnt like her character. Her character was so annoying and like a child having tantrums in the end tho. Maybe thats why? lol

Mike Brady should be on the list. The actor Robert Reed hated being a part of The Brady Bunch while it was filming. He thought the role was unrealistic. Crazy right?
reply

quick question, why is the movie version of this list on regular mojo, and the tv version on Ms. Do women watch more tv shows then men or something?
reply

I'm not conflicted about Joe Goldberg - he is a psychopath who murdered an innocent woman, I would be afraid to meet someone like that in real life.
reply

This video is really wrong. The dude who played the dad from the Brady bunch was easily number one. He didnt even show up to the final episode.
reply

I dont agree with what Joe does but because its fictional and from his perspective i can sympathise with him which might be bad but oh well
reply

Joe and Serena in the same video? We know what you are trying to hide the fact that Serena is one of Joe's visctims before Candace
reply

There is a difference between being critical of your character and the regret of taking the role to play that character
reply

Of course Penn Badgley shouldnt like his character. Why would you like a crazy stalker serial killing psychopath?
reply

Honestly I can totally agree with Jason Segal. who wants to play the exact same character for so many years?
reply

Ok, so not liking a season of their show and wanting to move on after 8 years mean that they HATE their characters?
reply

Weird that the number one is not only my least favorite character in the show but also least favorite actress.
