Pretty annoyed that Red Dog didnt make the list, definitely should have been no. 1. Red Dog is the true story of the most amazing and loyal dog there was. He traveled the whole of the west coast of Australia, as far south as Perth right up north to Darwin. It was said he even got on a ship to japan and back all in search for his owner who died in a road accident one evening. He is known as the Pilbara wanderer and there is a statue dedicated to him in his town Dampier.

A Dogs Purpose, and its two follow-ups are beautiful movies about the enduring love of a dog for their family. I also love Because of Winn Dixie, Turner and Hooch, and All Dogs Go to Heaven but Marley and Me is beautiful.

One of my faves wasn't mentionned Red Dog fantastic movie! More recent Togo was fantastic. But some great ones there, isle of dogs was incredible and homeward bound, Lassie were childhood!
