With the passing of Stephen Hillenburg in 2018, we should consider his lifes work on the cartoon that began all the way back in 1999 a blessing. For if it had not existed, then Nickelodeon wouldnt be a successful television network at all. Despite having its ups and downs over the course of the years, it helped keep the network going and made the franchise popular. All the funny/epic moments, all the memorable characters, and all the fun songs weve had along the way, we will always cherish them and the children from the next generation will love SpongeBob too.

All of my siblings and me grew up on spongebob, Im still growing up so youll see me watching spongebob most of the time. When my older siblings are visiting, if they arent watching sports, then I will put on spongebob, and all of us would watch. Even my Dad watches spongebob, and his favorite episodes are most likely Band Geeks, Pizza Delivery, The Krusty Towers, and the food con episode.

I actually find it quite baffling that in the Season 1 SpongeBob episode Pizza Delivery, Squidward shows his compassion towards SpongeBob after a rude customer insults him for forgetting his drink, yet in the sister episode, Home Sweet Pineapple, Squidward goes back to hating to him, to the point that Squidward even acted like he'll be better off without SpongeBob.

I really hated in the movie that Squidward got the manager position because he's lazy and rude while SpongeBob is hard working and loyal. And the fact that Mr Krabs only saw SpongeBob as a kid, unfit for the manager position because in his own words, To be a manager, you have to be a man, was even worse. I honestly would have stopped working for him at that point.

Squidward has got tk be my favourite character, mostly because he is the most relatable character on the show.
He is painted as being selfish but if you lived next to spongebob and Patrick you would go a bit mad.
But it's in moments like this that shows he is down to earth and compassionate

Squidward is a well written character. I always never liked that they made so angry that he is out of character in some hated episodes like the Sunday episode. If there was another SpongeBob SquarePants movie Squidward should be in it with SpongeBob and Patrick in a journey like the first movie.

Personal opinion but, Squidward is such a well written character that's usually devalued by the grouchy neighbor stereotype
He dislikes spongebob and can take it too the extreme like the prank episode but can show that he cares for his well being (mostly)

Squidward may be the grumpy adult that we all can identify with a lot of the time, but that doesnt mean he isnt heartless. Dressing up as Santa to cheer Spongebob up and throwing a pizza into a rude customers face were great moments

8: 13 this is my FAVORITE Squidward scene, quite possibly my favorite scene in the entire show! I'm sure anyone in the fast food business can also agree it's super satisfying watching Squidward put that Karin customer in their place
