I legit do not care I think Willow and Tara should have been #1 on this list, because they always showed their love for each other and always worried about the other in dangerous situations, while Angel and Buffy did that too they also constantly had Problems and would fight often in my opinion, they just didnt have a healthy relationship from the start(not to mention if u really wanna get technical it was also illegal even if Angel wasnt a 300+ year old vampire bc he was the human age of 27 and Buffy was 16 when they first kissed, and in the end the relationship just didnt work out and Angel basically knew from the start it would never work out, while Willows and Taras relationship was very healthy and very compatible but sadly their relationship ended in a horrible way with Taras death

Spike and Buffy are the best. Angel's such a bore, doing his broody thing all the time. Spike's more fun, whether he's being good or bad and much more intelligent too than the ex Irishman. He's by far the most perceptive character on the show and capable of real loyalty, kindness and selflessness despite his demonic nature.
Although Spike does terrible things he managed to be more affectionate and human as a vampire than any of the others. His feelings for Dru are touching in their way. That's how he managed to fall for Buffy while still soulless.

Am I the only one who's noticed that buffy has a thing for older guys?
First example angel, ingnoring the fact he's a vampire he was 24 when he was turned.
Second example riley finn who's in his early 20s when they dated.
Third example spike, again ignoring he's a vampire, although they weren't dating they 'intimate' before and after spike got his soul back.
Fourth robin wood I guess but they only had one date.

Buffy and Spike are far the superior couple. from enemies to lovers. They had a much better story arc. The only problem is Buffy could never admit she loved him, when it was clear she did which caused the break up. With Buffy and Angel they had nowhere to go after the whole Angelus thing. You forgot Angel and Darla mind you that was more on Angel. Also Buffy and Xander the relationship that never was.

I get why spike/buffy was not at the top but it should have been higher than buffy/angel, spike got tortured half to death for dawn and brought (anonymous) flowers to her mother's wake. Plus Spike holding the cross and asking can we rest now should put it above angel. (Giles/Jenny for the win)
