I think Dan's death is the most emotional scene in the whole series, nothing compares to that, we've seen him seek redemption for like 6 seasons and in each season ends up looking like there's no more hope for him, so his death was at the same time a good thing as his son admits that he loves him despite what happened, but it was also sad as it made it clear that death was the only option for him to be at peace again. Ellie's death would be number 2 in my opinion, as at that time, most of Peyton's character plot was about her dead mom, then she discovers that her biological mom was Ellie, and she kept shutting her out of her life in order to save her memories of her adoptive mother, but then when she made an effort to let her in, it was obvious that she felt the same thing for Ellie as for Anna, so Ellie's death, plus Hilarie Burton's acting when peyton found her, was so emotional and epic

Watching this made me realize even more just how much heartache and pain Peyton went through. I love this show because it really just focus on many aspects of life. Love, politics, murder, sickness, addiction, sports, music. The list goes on and on and they intertwine so well all together throughout the entire series.

I just got finished watching the whole show and Im glad Dan finally got the closure he needed in the end from Nathan before he died and Keith in the afterlife. Dan had the most interesting character development through the entire show for me and I always wondered if he could truly be forgiven for what he did.

Rewatching now on Hulu. Qs death always makes me bawl. I didnt like him in the beginning, especially the way he treated and talked to Haley. But he came far, was turning his life around for the better. He didnt deserve that. And Brooke didnt deserve what happened to her either. Still so sad & hard to watch.

The whole shooting episode is such a memorable thing to me. Of ANY show Ive ever watched Ive never seen something like that. Ive seen many shows and one tree hill is not even close to the top of my list but Keith. That death. The saddest one Ive ever seen. It truly did Change the ENTIRE course of that show

For me, its Qs death and funeral, those 2-3 episodes were hard to get through. Another one for me was when Dan went to the coach, wanting coach to kill him with the gun he brought, on the table. He had lost all hope, and was ready to go. The coach told him about living on for redemption. That hit hard.

I heard spoilers and knew that Keith was going to die in the school shooting but I didn't know how exactly. When Dan pulled the trigger, I couldn't watch anymore for awhile. I cried myself to sleep that night. I'm worried about when I rewatch the series how I'm gonna make it through that episode.

I am 50 years old and OTH is my favorite of all time. I bought the full set so I will have it forever. Its my go to when I need to do things and cant sit and watch but need sound in the background. Seen it so many times I already know what the scenes are.

They should have killed off Luke and Peyton instead of making them ride off into the sunset with NO EXPLANATION! IT MADE NO SENSE for the characters at least giving them a tragic ending would be more believable.
