Top 10 Old School Phones We Miss my favorite phones of the pre iphone/smart phone era would have to be the envy, the chocolate and the alias. i dont know if i ever owned a chocolate i remember a friend had the white chocolate and i thought it was the coolest phone ever. i had several aliases, rzrs and envys though. that was the best part about those days just always seeing everyone with something different and even sometimes quite unique. i always wanted to get or even just see a sidekick, at&t wasnt in our area at the time. we only had verizon and alltel in the area. so i never even saw one, i remember when the iphone came out we couldnt even get them locally for the first gen since at&t had an exclusive deal as the carrier. that same friend who had the chocolate was the first time id see an iphone after his dad bought a unlocked (at&t free) iphone not long after release\r\n

Idk why they are acting like the iPhone had to be rivaled I knew absolutely no one with an iPhone until the 4 came out I didn't even hear of iPhones until the 4 came out, only remember ipods I even remember asking that person where were the first 3, I was 7 when the iPhone came out so obviously I wouldn't have owned one or my friends but not even the teenagers or adults around me had or used one, I got my first phone halfway through middle school in 2012 it was still a sliding phone when I saw the iphone 4 I thought of it as an ipod that could call and text cause to me that's all cellphones did, smart phones definitely didn't take off over night there's nearly a decade of a transitional period from normal cell phones being the most popular to nearly everyone's phones being smartphones

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10: 13)
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. (Proverbs 28: 13)
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. (Psalms 51: 1-4)

These days, every phone is either android or iOS and some new craze of open source linux phones, with same form factor. back then we had a lot of variety, both in software and hardware. almost everyone u know had a unique phone back then. now, everyone has similar phones. very monotonous.
Wanna live those days again when we had those crazy slide out phones, flip phones, weird touchscreen phones, with OSes like blackberry, symbian, MeeGo, Bada, windows phone OS, windows mobile OS, open source android, palm OS, etc.

I'm so happy that I was born in 1990, got to live my childhood/early teens internet free. Hell I wasn't even allowed to be on the internet until I was 17 back in 07, I did have a black/white Virgin Mobile phone though which was useful.
I'm glad my parents didn't spoil my brain with the internet and technology, like how dumb parents nowadays do with their children.
I miss the old time's.

If there was like a early 2000s phone with physical keyboard and touch screen but has the functionality of the software and internet in todays age that would be nice.
I was born in the year 2000. I remember holding a slide up keyboard phone as a child. It was my mothers. I liked the feel of it and everything. This was way before iPhone 2G 2007 even existed.

How did the Nokia 8110 not make the list? This phone was crazy popular and I owned it when it first hit stores due to me being a big Neo fan. I saved all summer for this phone, back then they didnt have the device payment plan and I think I paid close to a grand for it.

phones were so exciting back then. and tech in general. i miss the 2000's, but in today's world once you're tried one phone you've pretty much tried them all. same for computers etc. technology today is not exciting like it used to be.

I wanted a LG chocolate so bad and the limited edition green sidekick Tmobile released in 04/05. And a pink razr.
But the Nokia 3310. I was a snake champion on that mf.
Everytime someone handed me a blackberry. ugh. I hated those.

LG chocolate was my first cell phone. My dad got us a set when they first released, mine was the pink edition. God I miss 2007 and the early 2000s in general. Time just flies by too fast now.

They need to start producing the original phones from 2000 period again.
Like Sony Ericsson T10 and T28
And no rebootwith modern tech.
Keep it original and cheap.

Before I bought my first iPhone I had a Nokia touch screen phone. And before that I had a 5310 express music. The best perfect phone I ever had.
