6: 00. The Wachowskis screwed themselves out of a 3rd Season of Sense8! Netflix offered the Wachowskis $64 MILLION dollars to do just 8 episodes. The Wachowskis said they needed $80 million ($10M per episode) $10 million per episode was more than the budget of Game of Thrones on Netflix! Game of Thrones had MASSIVE battle scenes and dragons--hahaha. Why would it cost $10 million & not $8 million per episode for Senae8 I put the blame on the Wachowski's for turning down the $80 million 3rd season contract NOT Netflix!

Partners should have at least got an honorable mention but Julie and the Phantoms should have been Number 1 without question. The romance between Alex & Willie was only JUST GETTING GOOD. Not to mention the entire series was FIRE! The stories, the songs, the humor, the depth, all of it solid GOLD! The petition to renew it has over 330 THOUSAND signatures. Clearly, as always, Netflix screwed up and cancelled another great show just because they hate the gays.

Just saying, but I happen to know two former Netflix software engineers who are both LGBTQ, who were forced out (One was outright fired) around the same time that Netflix was axing LGBTQ shows, so it's not a coincidence. Someone in charge had an agenda. Unfortunately AFAIK they never faced reprocussions

I still don't understand how Our Flag Means Death got cancelled, even the cinema industry doesn't understand. It only needed a third and last season, as the creators intended, to finish the story properly. Warner Bros/ Stream on MAX really did a bad move on this.

So true one day at a time on Netflix was such a great show. I continue to watch it over again Rita Moreno is amazing and I can’t. I thought they maybe canceled it because she was getting older but I just still don’t understand why they canceled it.

LGBTQA shows like these, Warrior Nun, Owl House, and so many more have been cancelled by the most homophobic people imaginable. Studio executives and CEOs who think LGBT is not their kind of brand. Looking at you, Disney and Netflix.

I would include:
- Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies (Canceled after 1 season)
- A League of their Own (was supposed to have a short 2nd season but canceled)
- Owl House (Canceled after w short 3rd season)

The Wilds and The Society I didn't watch cause i don't watch new shows until they get a full fun and end and it's sad that they borh ended up getting cancelled as both shows premises are up my alley

I wish they would make more season for the show Everything Sucks! It was a good show I mean I know there was a age gap between Peyton and Sydney but it was sooo good #bringbackeverythingsucks!

I am still mad that one day at a time got canceled, I loved that show! It had an amazing cast, talked about various serious topics, and had great humor. Like I’m legit still mad about it
reply

O loved One day at the time. Although the whole 90s sitcom wasn't the best, they really tackled serious matters and gave the Latin American community a voice

I'll forever be salty that Glow, I am Not Okay with this and The Society were all cancelled due to the pandemic, after all ended on exciting sounding cliffhangers.

I never understood why netflix cancelled one day a at time. It was such a wonderful show. Talked about some important topics. It was both cheerful and emotional.

Even though I was hoping for a season 3 of OFMD, it still has a satisfying ending as it is and that’s the only reason I’m not upset about it
reply

I don't blame LGBTQIA because TV shows look good as well as great. And LGBTQIA tv show sadly got canceled. That is Anti-LGBT's all fault.
reply

As a fan of Sense8 I am glad it made this list but I think A League of Their Own, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies deserve to be on this list.
reply

These shows were awful and should have never been made. What a waste of time. Glad none of these loser shows will ever be back.
reply

The issue isn't that they were canceled too soon
What was the issue was how these shows were basically shoved down our throats

reply

Hopefully the rest of the world will realize that being LGBTQ is okay and not make it a big deal.
I'm not one but I support it.
