Top 10 The 100 Plot Holes You Never Noticed
video description
10. The Lab is underground on an island off the coast of New Jersey, not exactly a prime Nuclear Target. Plus if A. L. I. E. is the one that launched the missiles its very possible she just refused to let any missiles target the island.
9. The class system isnt explained super well in the show, but it is pretty clear that having parents in positions of power was key to the class divisions. Clarke, Wells and Miller all had parents with very important jobs, they were known as The Privileged as mentioned in the show a few times(Miller less so since he pretty quickly sided with Bellamys faction.
8. There likely were more doctors, but essential personnel were evenly distributed among the 11 stations(12 Total minus GoSci Station) when The ARK was brought down to Earth, and seeing as only a third of the stations survived(Alpha, Hydro, Farm and Mecha, it makes sense that doctors are scarce.
7. The marrow kicks in in 48 Hours - Cage Wallace. Most of the people treated happened in a very short period of time, and considering they could only get a limited number of doses from each ARKer, its likely that while they had been treated, the marrow wasnt functional yet. Not to mention they sent most of their treated guards to level 5 to try and retake the floor but they were killed by the members of The 48.
6. The ARK generated its own gravity using rotational force, this was mentioned in like the first season, so it makes sense that theyre use to gravity since they lived their whole lives with it. The first season of the show is set over 130 years in the future, you have to exercise at least a little suspension of disbelief regarding the science in a Science Fiction Drama. But its entirely plausible that a super genius like Becca Franco was able to develop radiation immunity treatment.
5. Theyve only been Grounders for like 4 generations, its assumed that every single person from the Second Dawn(the grounders ancestors) spoke English, so Im not sure what youre cracking at there. Not to mention once they made contact with the Mountain Men it likely became more common practice to use Trigedasleng to prevent them from being understood, but that doesnt mean they just abandoned English. This question likely would have been much better answered had we actually gotten the Prequel show. The more pressing question is, how did a group of English speakers universally adopt a basterdized version of English as its primary language in a span of time in which many 2nd generation grounders could realistically still be alive.
4. Becca was not Greeted like a god, what are you talking about? It was only 2 years after Praimfaya that Becca went down to Earth, she would have been greeted as a normal human, though with a great deal of skepticism considering she could quite clearly survive on the surface without a suit. The Order of the Flame deified Becca posthumously, since she was burned alive by Bill Cadogan. Becca Pramheda was seen as the person who returned humanity to the ground, but it wouldnt have been till later that she became so enshrined in the Faith of the Grounders. With the announcement that there was going to be a backdoor pilot episode for a prequel in Season 7 I feel like this very clearly falls into the category of Might be addressed in Season 7 that you mentioned at the start. This one definitely felt like a really big reach.
3. Yeah once they got rifles and didnt need to really worry about wasting ammunition, animals would have become a non-issue. They pretty regularly mention hunting parties so its not like the writers just forgot about the animals. Pauna(the Giant Gorilla) was an extreme example, but the parasitic dessert worms in season 5 were another example of mutated animals so your point that they forgot about the animals really dies there.
2. No it wasnt, Lexas blood was always black. Showing her covered in someone elses blood isnt a plot hole.
1. Jacapo Sinclair was never a major character, he was never intended to appear all the time and he was given a sendoff after he was killed by Emerson. As for Kyle Wick, he was written off off-screen because of some of the actors more controversial opinions, it was mentioned by Abby that Raven pushed him away. Kind of a lazy write-off, yes, but it was the best they could do without having to bring the actor back for an episode to be killed. He is presumed to have been killed in Praimfaya 2, since he wasnt on Clarkes list of survivors.
Even without Season 7 info this was a pretty poorly done video, basically everything was wrong and it gets even worse in some spots when you DO factor in Season 7.\r\n

10: Becca's lab was underground and protected by ALIE's drones
9: they explained it in the books
8: They probably spread the doctors on the different stations, and only 3 stations survived.
7: When the Mountain Men intercepted a few people (mostly parents etc) from the ark (like Kane, Abby, David Miller, a few of them died. Emerson tells Cage after they're back that he is the only one that is cured from the survivors
6: it's called science fiction for a reason.
5: Children and women were also warriors, so there is no way of telling if someone is a warrior just from their age or gender. Also, later in the series, when they become Wonkru, it is only logical all grounders learned English.
4: She is probably considered a god because she isn't affected by the radiation.
3: There were also a lot of non-mutated animals (from the beginning. They focused the attention on some mutated animals in season 1 to put the radiation in the spotlights. Also, after season 1, we learn about freikdreina like Emori.
2: She could have had the blood of others on her face. How do we even know she was hurt?
1: Callie was only in 1 episode, they wrote her out of the series because of budget reasons. Jason Rothenberg told they floated her off-screen. Kyle Wick was pushed away by Raven (according to Abby. The actor who played him was fired because of some controversial tweets. Sinclair wasn't a major character en was given a short goodbye when he died (unlike some real major characters.
so overall, i dont agree with this video

I think what over all didn't make sense was the over all earth cultures. I could see sanctum and bardo cultures considering it was centuries later. But between the bombs dropping and the 100 landing, was barely 100 years, there was already several commanders. If calligans daughter started the grounders, it doesn't seem like they would be so violent of a society. Really also don't make sense the rejection of tech. Then on the ark it could not have been long since the oldest person from earth died, and yet they went into an entirely different political system. Either way it's barely been 100 years and even the elders knew next to nothing of the ways before the bombs.

I don't think there's even a system to define the class between people, it just happen to every civilized capitalism society, where everyone have to make their way up by themselves to where they can get the best resources. When there are differences between how much everyone can get, people defines classes by themselves with discrimination to the others. That's what humanities are.

grounders knew english cause of the sheperds daughter, who left her fathers bunker thanks to becca who gave her doses for her and hundreds of people of nightblood so that they can survive in the radiation. the sheperds daughter and the hundreds of others that followed her out the bunker were the first grounders who created what we see in the early seasons of the show

i am sorry i know i am watching this later than is appropriate but it is not hard to figure out why more medics were not in the original landing party when the original landing party were all criminal children under the age of 18. hell they were lucky that someone knew something about medicine. did you even comprehend the first season at all?

Plot detail mojo didnt notice - Octavia uses her blood for Blood Reina the way Lexa used her blood for Heda as facepaint.
Octavia copied a lot of Lexas symbolism as commander (likely because of Indra.
Lexa has blood on her face, its her own and its the black paint she wears. The red blood is from her klls or injured soldiers

They dont have as big a problem with gravity on earth because they were in a space station where the gravity was adjusted to match Earth. The reason we have problems now in space is we dont have the same gravitational pull while in space but Im assuming theyve adjusted that since it was gonna be such a long stay.

biggest thing is about the radiation, once its killing once it has green somewhere. then comes the oil of the cars that are running everywhere through the whole time. they want to go to space to be saved from radiation. but how the people other than the bunker can live! whats the logic

Man, y'all should have waited till after watching S7, and either payed a lil more attention or did some research. A lot of these plot holes are indeed adressed and given context, making them not plot holes. Did anyone actually look into any of this? Cuz I dont think they did.

Granted u say being not much time has passed since the war so the spaceship shouldn't be new but you also gotta remember, this is after the war, so the thought of this actually happening is not that believable, so that's why when she comes down there in awe

Please correct me if Im wrong, but during the first or second season it was mentioned the ship rotated creating gravity and for the most part, they would have only experienced a no gravity experience during the trip to earth.

The first plot hole I dont rlly agree with because A. Why would ALIE blow herself up? Thats a reason it couldve survived. B. Yes the lab couldve remained untouched because of the drones that patrolled the island lab etc.

Lexa dies by a single gunshot while Murphy gets stabbed maybe 10 times in different episodes and nothing happens. In season 6 he gets his femoral artery sliced and 10 minutes later he is walking like nothing happened.

Becca wasnt received as a god at the time, we know it from the second dawn bunker crew, she was seen that way after the stories a few generations later probably since she wasnt affected by radiation.

I say the science is the biggest plot hole in The 100. Made-up science is fine. But when they deal with real science - like the effects of radiation - they need to be consistent with how it works in reality.

I got to say 1 thing. The 100 later on in the series could have been a great humans vs aliens at season 5. But no the directors decided to just make it humans vs humans.
Who agrees

This nihilistic crap was more full of holes than a fishing net.
And yes, the average Star Trek fan knows more about science than the writer of this junk.

The gravity on Earth wouldn't be so different than the arc, because they had gravity on their ship in space. Duh, they weren't floating around.
