The explanation of the episode Going Hollywood serving as a pilot for Hannah Montana makes sooo much sense to me now. I remember not liking the episode since it seemed to focus more on the child actress rather than the main cast- I wished they had at least incorporated Corey more by having him 'teach' her about being a normal kid, maybe even having her go to his school so he can see the vast different to how she's treated on set vs in public school, or getting popular due to her celebrity status & asking her to help him get an acting gig so he can make it big too.
I get they did this on That's So Raven as it was popular and to test the pilot idea on the audience they were looking to aim the show at, but it would've been better to give it it's own air time rather than sharing it with another show. I couldn't find myself thinking wow, I really like this girl's character, I want to see what else she gets up to after this instead it was more along the lines of, why isn't Corey involved in this more if this is his episode? Why did they change the main story from Corey getting to be on tv to a famous girl wanting to go to public school?
Don't get me wrong, I loved Hannah Montana but I don't think this is the way to air a pilot/new show idea.

That's so raven was my fave show as a kid. I remember when they came out with a that's so raven clothing line. I had a few pieces. I use to try to do some of her hair styles and say oh snap the way she did. I even wanted to be a fashion designer at one point in my life because of her character! I wanted to be her so bad lol. Now I'm a mom of two daughters and I got my 8 year old into that's so raven and I also watch raven's home with them and it's funny watching this show as a mom and raven's character being a mom. This show will always have a special place in my heart, there was no other show like it and never will be.

I always thought it was really cool that ravens mom was working on her degree. I dont know why I found that so inspiring as a kid. I guess to show that women that are older than their twenties can still work to achieve things. I feel like society has a weird way of acting like once moms have kids their lives are over.

I used to watch this show when I was 6 but I forgot about the show because I didnt even understand English. When I grew up I kept thinking about a show with a black girl that has a vision and can see into the future and here I am found it on Disney+ and watching the full 4 seasons. This show brings back some memories

Speaking of Thats So Raven being filmed on Saved by the Bells set, her house looks an awful lot like the Full House set too. I dont know if it is, I kind of doubt it because there are subtle differences and researching it nothing pops up, but if anyone knows and wants to clarify, that would be great!

A gifted actress, such a charisma, naturally hilarious! That's so raven has been and is still my favorite show.
I also loved how the actors portrayed her parents. A loving, warm, cool family. Nothing can cheer me up more than watching the show when I feel depressed.

people always big up Zendaya, Selena and Miley but Raven was always my favourite, especially with her different accents lol she and her cast were real comedians not to mention great singers, as well as Demi who was also an underrated singer.

That's sad the one that played her mom was going thru stuff with her own mom & had to bounce. I had no idea. Sad. Messed up how they gave the lil girl the boot & gave the whole plot to Miley. Hollywood is a trip.
