One of the saddest parts watching this, besides the psychological torture, is realizing that a lot of the girls were just as good as Maddie. Most could have preformed just was well as Maddie, if not better, if Abby just treated them the same. A lot did very well in spite of Abby purposely trying to mentally psych them out.
Especially Chloe. I don't doubt the main reason was because Abby hates Christi [and has to take it out on Chloe because Abby isn't mature enough to only be mad at the adult]. I also wouldn't doubt that Abby has always been threatened by Chloe being just as talented at Maddie.

I tried watching this show on multiple occasions. I couldn't do it because of all the drama. Abby was terrible to her students. Honestly I don't know why she thought it was okay to treat them that way. Hopefully prison and her being sick made her a nicer person. Also I honestly don't understand why Jojo still dress like a little girl. I know that her fan base are little girls. But I honestly didn't realize until a few months ago that she is 17. Yet she dresses like a 10 or 11 year old. Honestly I wouldn't have listened to her music if she had been around when I was little. Way too cringey.

In dance there are dance moms (legit dance moms who will help their kids, get snacks, help other kids, be an overall supportive parent) and Dance Moms. Dance Moms live through their kids successes and are the stereotype, and it's an insult to be known/called a Dance Mom. The show should have been called Abby's Ego Trip A. K. A How to Bully Little Girls.

Nia also had a lifetime movie come out called imperfect high with Sherri Shepherd as her mother. She acted in this movie while studying for finals and got a 4. 0 if Im remembering correctly. Paige also just graduated from college this year

All of the adults in this show were the worst. The girls were talented and awesome in spite of how the adults behaved. Its actually really interesting the directions they all went in their own adult lives.

IF Abby was so bad, why did the mothers let their kids continue to Dance as long as they did? The mothers shoulder just as much blame. They failed to protect their children while they watched!
