Edward doesnt communicate with Bella and reveres her, instead of talking more and respecting her. Bella certainly got wound up in the fantasy and both of them avoid difficult situations or stubbornly wait them out instead of confronting them.
Stephanie Mayer, whether intentional or not, did an impressive job of imposing Victorian/Edwardian social norms on present relationships, with realistic problems that are not acceptable or healthy in modern relationships. The other Cullens certainly are more in touch with the 21st century, even Jasper and Alice respect, communicate and support each other. Edward shows a stiff upper lip, and self-restraint and believe he should be respected for it, and holds up woman or protects them from threats he sees or envisions; toxic masculinity in the modern age, and valued traits in different societies.\r\n

I get it that this is their opinion but all Edward is doing is just trying protect Bella and help her and when she said Edward is putting Bellas life in danger hes just really trying to protect her and theres really no point saying that hes clingy this movie came out in 2008 ya think hed be clingy and Bella was deeply in love with him he didnt force her into a relationship im just saying this because it is my opinion and I dont think Edward is the worst obviously Bella and Edward were meant to be together so there is no point of saying that hes the worst and its just a movie but I get it that its your opinion oh and every relationship is different so Dont be saying that theyre trying to teach teenagers that they have to be in a clingy relationship and of course hes going to stock Bella because hes protecting her and he likes her sent a lot then he said he wanted Bella to meet his family and she knew that shes going to be in a house full of vampires she really wanted to become on anyways so my point is aka Edward is not the worst and again the movie did come out in 2008 so its going to clingy and this is all my opinion I dont need people coming at me

Or a more intense vampire love, thoughts, abilities and way more everything - go read some Ann Rice books.

my Twilight fanfic solves a lot of these problems, we learn that Carlisle is compelling Edward to watch Bella sleep because he wants to find a way for vampires to emulate human sleep patterns, Bella saves his life multiple times (almost as many times as I've died in Cuphead, Edward becomes bromantically involved with Jacob, and they do a stand-up routine together (complete with Jasper doing the rimshots) with, yes, not just Bella, Jacob's pack, and the other Cullens watching, but also Charlie (who becomes Carlisle's bromantic partner, and actually loves Edward's jokes, Edward not only takes up stand-up as a hobby, he also takes up Pokemon TCG as a hobby, as well as painting, sculpting, and even writing motivational self-help books, so whaddya think

Miss? Have you not read Midnight Sun? If you have not I would really recommend that because you can not say Edward pushed Bella into a relationship. HE DID NOT! He gave her the full choice. He was even planning on the end of Midnight Sun/ Twilight to leave Bella because of her own safety. So dont say stuff youre not sure about.

Number 4. To be fair in the books he does have other interests, it is said that he has a few degrees, plus he like the other members of his family likes cars and speed. But considering he is supposed to be a 100 year old vampire with tons of time to spare, I am still not impressed.

Jacob is toxic but Edward is too, just in a different way. I like Jacob better because at least he's not boring and bland and brooding every single second. Bella and Jacob actually have fun together where with Edward she just broods along with him.
