She didnt really helped. It was David who did research and also even ask his dad what can this mean because it was fishy to him. All Alexis did was repeat what david said and added none sense lol. But her arc and progression is so good. One when he has grown shown is when she stayed for David in spite of having a date. She put her brother first. This list could use a tweak.

The first episode, I figured she was a stereo-typical rich socialite annoying Paris Hilton type. but, they did a great job on actually expanding her character by giving her depth and layers and not just a one dimensional self absorbed airhead, which is what I expected. I quickly grew to like and then love her, along with everyone else on the show, with the tops being the Rose family. They're all greatly written, thanks to the very talented Daniel Levy who is now one of my favorite people(I don't know personally)

Best Alexis Moment for me, I tear up every time.
This might sound insane, but I have this nagging feeling that Im going to get there and start thinking about my family. Not insane, thats called missing someone. Maybe Im not explaining myself very well. Like I will physically be there. But I will be thinking about them here. What if something happens David, Im basically his only friend. Or my dad, David and my mom sometimes gang up on him and Im basically his only friend.

I accidentally killed my nephews Tomogachi when I was a teen and he was like 7 We were at dinner and he gave it to me across the table to show me how far along he was. I accidentally dropped it in my drink. Ill never forget the look he gave me or the silence at the table. Its been 30 years. My family still talks about it! My nephew just got one from Santa this Christmas and it ALLL kicked off again!
Dont worry I did buy him a new one with my own money.

My favorite Alexis moment is when she told Ted she couldnt let him move back from the Galapagos for her. She was so soft and genuine. No posturing, no spinning, no stretching the truth. Just real, unvarnished concern for another human being. I thought that was the climax of the entire series, to be honest. It showed how far she had come.
Although I have to admit A little bit Alexis killed me!

Despite having been neglected and not nurtured, she becomes adult, and is full of kindness. She lacks any bitterness and sees the good in everyone. I would have thought this character development at least, unlikely, but I know someone whos character and background are very similar, and who brings the sun out in everyone else, just like Alexis!

Bravo! Bravo! Alexis is amazingly funny! A little bit of la la la Alexis is the hilarious! But, I truly loved the scene when Alexis turns down the check Twyla gives her & instead tells Twyla that she's keeping their friendship & for Twyla to visit her in NY! And taps her nose. that is the best scene! I enjoy Alexis b/c in a way I can relate!

I love all the characters from this gem of a show, but David and Moira probably make me laugh the most, mostly for the way they deliver their lines, not just what they say. It's hard to choose a favorite.
