Yvie did often make the most unneeded comments but Ill say I can see why she was often in the right. Provoked or not, I get her point more often than not. She was often belittled by Silky others for unique takes even before the first few fights making it clear why things would already be tense, having EDS myself I get why even if not intentional people saying her disability/injury should make her go home would be really hurtful, and that most of her unprovoked comments were just repeats of the judges and it was only when they often took note those queens did get better or worse messages. Like I dont have anything against Silky personally but I get that while tasteless the comment about Sasha was true as Sasha was safe but always tried & was consistent in her attempts to push the boundaries of her drag style while Silky was reliant on personality/pretty most of the season until it did become what hurt her the most.

idgaf the vixen was never wrong against aquaria and eureka. they busted out their white women victim complex, white woman tears and micro-aggressions. they painted her and nina bonina brown as angry black women and negative when everyone constantly came for them or they were going through shit. why do white queens always get the benefit of the doubt and sympathy for being brave showing vulnerability but when it's a black queen, they're aggressive and violent. no one defended them as usual. no one ever defends black queens the way black queens support/defend non-black queens. it pisses me off. yvie was right about silkie. she has no talent- looks, makeup, didn't stand out for any challenge and only relied on personality which was annoying but caused the most drama.

What is cool about Heidi is that she didn't just do the cowardly side eye crap that all the other girls tend to do & stood up to bullying. She is so admirable for that. I also feel the Alyssa v Phi Phi was edited that way. Nothing Phi Phi said was wrong & you even heard Detox agree after she said Alyssa shouldn't get a pass for shoddy drag just because she is Alyssa.

I will never like Phi Phi. Her attitude always missed me off. Childish. Hateful. I didn't like Silky on her season either. For the same reason. However, Silky made me a fan in All Stars 6. Fixed herself and got her attitude straight. Totally won me over. I wish Phi Phi had done the same.

The Vixen and Aquaria thing was wild. I totally get why she was defensive about the aggressive black woman thing but damn Aquaria can't help having emotions! Especially in a stressful pressure cooker like drag race or any reality tv show for that matter.

My unpopular opinion is Valentina didnt deserve to be miss congeniality. She was more of a fan favorite (not mine) but I just never got why people were so in love with her. She kinda creeps me out lol

To be fair, it wasnt Aquaria who gave The Vixen the ABW narrative. The Vixen was combative every chance she got, which was so unnecessary. She did it to herself and no one else is to blame. Period.
