I know I'm minority, but I consider Dan and Blair the best couple on Gossip Girl and I will never get over the fact that writers ruined healthy, very well developed relationship just because Blair and Chuck were more popular and fans were demanding it.
In my opinion whenever that happens on a show, it maybe make majority of the fans happy, but the overall quality of the series suffers. I don't think that pleasing fans is worth losing logic. Just look at Pretty little liars - all of the original couples got together because of the fanbase and in my opinion the show lost sparks and validity because of that. It felt rushed, staged and unbelievable. You can't get everything you want in real life and that's what makes it more magical and worth the beautiful things you actually get.

ok i only watched like the first 4-5 seasons of grey's anatomy, but that burke and christina thing was a 2 way problem. it was satisfying to see them break up, but please don't pin it all on him. it was one freak out to many and he finally woke up. this video makes it seem as if he just got up there, waited 2 minutes and said F it. he was up there for a while and meridith even had to go tell him it would all be ok to just give them some time to get christina calmed down.
i'm not saying that he was right for pushing marriage or any of that, i'm just saying it wasn't as simple as he gave up and was an ass. he realized they weren't right for each other, that they wanted different things. would it have been better to go through with the marriage that day and divorce later?

I was so happy when Joey and Dawson broke up. Joey and Pacey will always be the best and my otp!
How DARE you put Jon and Dany on this list. They shouldve developed the relationship more because I'm sorry but Jon and Dany looked so good together! Just complete bs! They had to actually change the last few episodes because the storyline leaked. Dany was actually supposed to die giving birth. Jon was supposed to die. Anyone who says ewww they were related! first off an uncle married his own niece in the STARK family! It happened in those times. We all just look at it with a modern mentality and have to remember that's not how it used to be. Sorry!

I always feel bad at how terrible the Joey/Rachel relationship went. That was Joey's best storyline. Matt was finally given a chance to show that he could portray deeper emotions. When Joey was in love with Rachel it was great. When Rachel returned his feelings, it turned sour. Joey's one-sided love and rejection should have been the end of it. Then that should have opened the door for Joey to realize that he wanted something serious and for him to find real love like the others did.

Dawson and Joey mightve gotten exhausting, but at least their characters had an established history (also JVB and KH had good chemistry. Joey and Pacey was NAUSEATING, as Pacey/Dawson had been best friends (also, JJ and KH had ZERO romantic chemistry in my opinion)
Troy/Britta from Community belonged on the listthey were AWFUL together

I gotta say. Once Upon A Time did a great job metaphorically representing how addiction affects relationships. And I'm glad that they ended up happy together in the afterlife, but that break up scene was well deserved and I'm glad she loved herself enough in that moment to put her foot down.

I think the problem about Rachel and Joey's relationship was that it felt so rushed, they had chemistry and he loved her and cared about her a lot, but the way the writers handled it was pretty clumsy and I gotta say, it was a wasted opportunity. That's just my humble opinion

Preston and Christina breakup was heartbreaking. He never said he wanted to change her and didnt love her. He did love her which is why he let her go because she didnt want to get married and was going to change herself. You should have put Topper and Sarah on here instead
reply

Brandon Walsh and Tracy Gaylian Beverly Hills 90210 that relationship was doomed from the start but anyway we all knew in 10 seasons that Kelly would end up with Brandon or Dylan at the end but Tracy really became delusional and manipulated by Valerie for sure
reply

Msmojo, you forgot one more. Donna and Randy on That 70s Show. The biggest problem with season 8 was Randy. And watching Donna break up with him was even MORE satisfying than all the other entries in this video. She and Eric are meant to be.

I find it interesting. Love Friends and when I first started watching I agreed that it should have been Ross and Rachel. Now, I realize I might not like Joey and Rachel together but that could have been the healthier relationship

Honestly all or Rorys boyfriends were bad. Dean was the best one and he still wasnt that great. Like seriously. Rory is so kind and nice but she always ends up with jerks. They slowly get worse and worse.
reply

Joey and Dawson best breakup ever. Dawson was annoying. He didn't deserve Joey or Jen. The show should have been Pacey's Creek. Dawson ended up alone and Pacey and Joey got their happy ending.
reply

for jon and danys its not their fault its the writing thats to blame for. the infamous mad queen route was the last straw for viewers and it would have been good but it was too little too late
reply

I never liked ted and robin together he always came off as a female dog to me she slept with his suppose bestfriend once u do that its a done deal after that i got bored with the show
reply

Ok yes Rumple and Belle definitely arent the best couple but that doesnt change the fact that their break up was just so heartbreaking. Plus they end up married in the end so.
reply

I cheered when Belle banished Rumple from Storybrooke. His true love was power, NOT Belle, and she finally realized that when a magic gauntlet led her to his dagger.
reply

Everybody hates on Rumplestiltskin but he went through so much, way more than anyone, even Emma. I love him, he's a sympathetic character and if you watched it, you'll see

Sam and Cindy from Freaks and Geeks definitely takes the cake for me, throughout one episode we see how toxic Cindy really is and Sam dumping her was so friggin great
reply

While the Joey and Rachel was good, but I think the Joker and Harley was better. Ironic when hoped they'd work. I know as crazy as they are individually
reply

I am so happy that Booth and Hannah were on this list, even only as honorable mentions. They were the first couple I thought of when seeing the title!
reply

There was absolutely nothing satisfying about the last season of GoT. Strongly oppose the Jon/Dany breakup being in the list for that reason alone.
reply

This list started with the best Gossip Girl couple, so I'm doubtful it will go on well. Oh well, Ted and Robin number 9. I knew this list was dumb.
reply

For me the most satisfying break up was between britta and troy. From the community. Troy is just so childish and britta is just so much older.
reply

Brandon Walsh and Kelly Taylor, Beverly Hills 90210. They didn't belong together. Neither did Kelly and Matt. She only belongs with Dylan.
reply

I was actually upset when Dan and Blair broke up, they had so much in common, and IDK why Blair chose Chuck after what he put her through
reply

When Jon and Daenerys first appeared on the screen together i was actually really surprised that they have absolutely 0 chemistry
reply

Im just glad somebody finally admitted that Owen Hunt from Greys Anatomy is a jerk because Ive been saying this for years
reply

The knowing clarinet parenthetically itch because gasoline greely possess versus a enchanted joseph. erect, tan digital

Glad to se Jon and Dany here. Their relationship seemed so forced and it was one of the reasons season 8 sucked so much.
