I disagree about the song: What's Love Got To Do With It.
Tina's defining moment WAS That song! She sang it with so much emotion that her pain could be felt in it. She was, and still is an icon of beauty and grace through a tumultuous time in her life. Tina is a beacon of light for those going through so much pain and suffering. Tina gives hope when there is no hope. My favorite song from Tina is: What's Love Got To Do With It because it embraces the struggle of what it's like to love someone who can not be loved, or show love. The question remains. What's Love Got To Do With It? It doesn't matter. Stop trying to love someone who is incapable of appreciating the emotion.

I tell people that all the time. People say just let that go. Well then tell everyone else to stop bringing it back up. Once all that old stuff starts getting stirred up again, youre going to keep thinking about it and its going to drag you to places you thought you left behind. Even if you achieve acceptance and forgiveness, it doesnt change the fact that it happened. The trauma and the feelings never go away all together. Theyre always in the background just waiting to find something that reminds you of all of that.

I disagree with the theroy forgiveness based on her busiest beliefs. I think it's actually much simpler and less spiritual. When you give forgiveness, it's never for them, you give it for yourself so you can move past what happened and so that it can no longer have a hold on you any more. In actuality forgiveness is a selfish thing, as it should be.

i only knew her through her music & dancing and the vague familiarity of her survival story. learning more about her is captivating. Rest Peacefully with the Lord. i feel like she's with him even though she wasn't Christian. i just don't think God turns away good people. especially those who have suffered and REMAINED loving toward humanity.

What an amazing person. The fact she went through all that but never gave up is incredible. I have heard some of her songs and they're enjoyable and great! R. I. P Tina Turner! We will forever love you and we will continue to listen to the amazing songs that you brought into the world, even there were some she didn't fully like.

I didt hear what she likes, how she enjoys her life and success. All i learned from this is that life is a drama an all we have to sympathize and cry. I live Tina Turner as a singer, her songs and performance. Ill like to know her happy times and jois in life, wron which i can learn and be happy to say, what a wonderful life!

Yesterday we received the very news of Tina's passing. While I can understand that she did not want to dwell on her history with Ike, her story was an important story. It brought a face to a story that all too often lives in the shadows. She shone a light on abuse and for that I thank her. Rest in Peace fine lady!

A legacy of heartache? That's the farthest thing from the truth. That's what I liked most about her as a person, not the star. She NEVER dwelled on heartache, peril or pain. After it happened, she put a period behind it & kept it moving. If anything, her legacy is, ENDURANCE. #RIL #ThoseLegs

Did anybody else that moment of the documentary when theyre in the studio and shes sitting on a desk (I guess) and Ike approaches to pick up something from the desk and she instantly moves as she was thinking he was about to hit her?
