How did I know The Sound of Music would be number 5 on this list? Well, I didn't, but I had a good feeling it would at least be included because it is without a doubt my own go-to comfort movie and always will be. I watched the Do Re Mi sequence earlier today in fact and was just full of warm cuddly feelings!

Exactly. I'm designed for ultimate comfort to function at my best. I already told you many times, stress, pressure and pain won't work for me.
It will only bring down my productivity. You are so adamant for No apparent reason to test and stress me. Now, I already prove you to you are in the wrong track.

Agree with most of those, I'd add Jurassic Park, The Breakfast Club, War of the Buttons (1960s original movie), pretty much every Disney movie. Also the 1998 The Parent Trap as Ruby suggested below, I was the twins' age more or less and this one really stuck with me.

I would be complaining ing that Paddington didn't get 1st place but being beat by the princess bride is more of a compliment than an insult so I am happy. I am kinda upset that there wasn't even one Winnie the poo movie though.

Mamma Mia is probably my number 1 comfort movie. My sister and I literally watched it last week and our grandmother came in and said I play this music or watch this movie when I want to be in a happy mood. Its perfect!

There is no way The Wizard of Oz and Mary Poppins were only honorable mentions.
But I agree with the Princess Bride

The whole Nazi story line is the story of the Van Trap family. Without it we wouldnt know who they were.

I'm glad the first Paddington film is on this list because the sequel isn't delightful as the original.

Agree with all, except The Wizard of Oz, which is one the scariest psychological thrillers of all time.
