A normal life doesn't mean settling for a bland relationship honey PREACH. They had no chemistry. He cared about Lisa but wasn't in love with her. It's more about what she represented for him, a stable life, a family, and his connection with Ben was what really made him stay with her because he was like a son to him. Because had it been about being with someone he actually loved or had a connection with, it would have been Cassie. Moreover, Sam made him promise that he'd stay with Lisa because he thought that's what would make him happy but man Dean just couldn't wait to get back out. I mean, I liked Lisa but they just weren't a good fit. They come no where near the relationship and chemistry Dean shared with Cas, but then again, very few couples do.

Really?
Zack and Lane? They are my third favourite couple in Gilmore Girls (after Lorelai and Luke, Rory and Logan. I love their story and I saw a big chemistry between them. But maybe I am the only one.
Anyway with other couples I agree, the worst was for me Joey and Rachel.
I have two tips, what I think it would be a great mistake to make these people together, but it seems it is headed that way, but I think they wil end in some of these the worst couple ranking:
Thomas Magnum and Julliet Higgy
Jim Street and Chris Alonso
Both are great friends but I think it would be disaster if screenwriters make them together.

I nominate Blaine and Peyton (iZombie. No chemistry, for starters. And they were just a bad, bad, bad, bad, BAD idea! It also didn't help that Peyton's IQ seemed to drop about 40% when they got back together in season 3. Seems Blaine simply claiming that he had lost his memory and that he was a good guy was enough for Peyton to jump back into bed with him and pretend that he wasn't a murderous, conniving person. And did she even stop to think that if his memory loss was legitimate, she'd be guilty of taking advantage of him and the situation? How is that okay?

As much as I liked the Potential that Leonard and Penny had in TBBT, they themselves have a lack of chemistry, mostly because neither of them received proper character development, which is why they should be on this list. Penny was honestly really abusive and selfish. And Leonard, didnt mature, mostly because of Sitcoms annoying habit of always portraying male masculinity in a pathetic way; (Raj, Howard, Leonard, Sheldon; Stuart) they were all considered pathetic childish nerds/men. Sitcoms always do this.

Dawson and Joey should have been number one. George and every woman he was with. Why people kept crushing and sleeping with George was a mystery. That's why he was slowly written out. Next, do a list where the protagonist should take a back seat to the supporting cast. Dawson's Creek should have been Pacey's Creek. I love Will and Grace but let's be honest it should have been titled, Jack & Karen.

I say this with a lot of love because I am a big fan of Money Heist, but I personally feel NO chemistry, like ZERO, between Raquel and the Professor. The Professor is my favourite character in the show, if not one of my all time favourites and Raquel is also cool, but somehow I really don't like them as a couple. Does anyone here feel the same?
reply

Really, Rachel and Joey? Y'all do realize that the same show had Frank Jr. and Alice, right? The only excuse that those two are not number one is that they were too much of side characters. No other TV couple gave me the ick like them, not just because of the cringe teacher/student relationship, but also how they treated Phoebe.

Lucas and Lindsey on One Tree Hill had no real romantic chemistry and it barely seemed like they even actually got along as friends. I feel like she was just someone he was settling for until he could get Peyton. Honestly Lucas was a horrible boyfriend to anyone but Peyton and sometimes even to Peyton

I thought Ross was a brainy yet inept ass regardless of what a good father he tried to be for both his children. I wanted Rachel and Joey to be a couple because it would have been wildly passionate and probably could have been a spin-off.
Hey! Might have been why they didn't do it, ya reckon?

Im honestly tired of the Maggie and Jackson slander, they actually werent one big mess from beginning to end seeing as they were one of the healthier couples on Greys. They had a very good dynamic that complimented and balanced each other out and they should still be together now.
reply

Oh lord seeing the Joey and Rachel thing again just made me cringe. I loved their friendship but wow that storyline was a little weird when you think about it. Especially looking back after all these years (I choose to forget lol. It was always Ross and Rachel.
reply

Can we all just acknowledge the potential for bias here? People are obviously going to think ships they dont like have zero chemistry. Im not saying thats whats happened here, Im just saying its something to consider for future lists like this.

I absolutely hated Spencer and Caleb from pretty little liars thats definitely one couple I couldnt wait for them to break up that was one of the worst couples and the worst thing that show ever came up with that couple was so nauseating
reply

I think the main part lacking in Joey and Rachel's relationship was her side of it. The show really did well on Joey's side of catching feelings and feeling it all. Rachel developed feelings within a day so that was a bit forced with her.
reply

Omg James and Kara's Relationship on Supergirl was just annoying. so was Rachel and Joey's because they're like family! They care abt each other but it didn't have to become into something romantic!
reply

Just because most people liked the incredibly toxic Chuck and Blair relationship DOES NOT mean that Dan and Blair didn't have any chemistry, it's so obvious that they did even as just friends
reply

Add Scott and Malia from Teen Wolf. I felt like this was just a last minute addition to the final episodes of season 6. Like, the writers ran out of ideas and randomly paired them together.
reply

I think it was intentional the Rebecca bunch and josh Chan relationship had no chemistry. Rebecca was in love with the idea of being with josh Chan and not actually in love with josh Chan.
reply

Oh my, I thought I was the only one who hated Jackson and Maggie! Just because two people look cute standing next to each other doesn't mean they would make a good couple.
reply

I liked Dan and Blair and think they should have explored their relationship more. I think they had chemistry and their relationship felt real. They were awkward but sweet
reply

lane zach relationship then marriage i'm sorry but tragic alongside paris and doyle rory and logan or rory and marty should put these characters in perspective
reply

Im sorry but Dan and Blair did have chemistry I know people like them with other people more but they actually had chemistry and a slow burn relationship
reply

What about Jess and Sam from New Girl? They need stop come to each other forget about them and Jess and Nick finally ended up together in late seasons.
reply

Unpopular opinion: I think Joey and Rachel could have been really good together if the relationship happened a bit slower and more organically
reply

Thank you including Joey and Rachel on this list. They were awesome as friends but felt VERY forced as a romantic couple.
reply

dan and blair was forced and definitely not endgame, but if we are talking about chemistry they sort of had it
reply

Kelly and Dylan from 90210 deserved top spot. Brenda and Dylan were much better. But I guess that was too long ago.
reply

Me thinks immediately of Lee Thompkins and Ed Nygma from Gotham when it comes to no romantic chemistry.
reply

Some people have defended Joey and Rachel. Ive seen a post with ten reasons why they werent that bad together.
reply

Yea so what drew my attention was that the thumbnail was Rachel and Joey, me and the homies mom lost our shit
