I find it ironic that a lot of the same people in entertainment can produce that Rosetta Stone commercial with a little wink wink, then condemn when a movie like Sound of Freedom comes out.
Isnt it funny that nasty people exploit children in the third world? vs Look at the moralists trying to expose a problem that clearly isnt a problem

I started watching SNL from its first episode back in 1975. They had some wickedly funny commercial parodies right from the start, none of which are included here. Dan Aykroyd did a bunch of Ronco take-offs. My favorite one, the one that made me _literally_ fall out of my seat laughing, was the Dan Aykroyd Bass-O-Matic commercial.

There was another more recent commercial parody SNL did for Cologuard (from a viewer from the UK, I didn't know this was a real company specialised in at-home colon cancer testing, ordered by doctors, until I looked that up on social media) with Woody Harrelson (who was guest host for the 5th time, it did go dark at the end.

You should've just split into two videos, by decade. It's very 21st century-centric except a couple of token 80s to be inclusive Lol
Bassomatic? Happy Fun Ball? Jewess Jeans? Finger Remover? Roseanne as phone operator? The real chicken restaurant chicken?

Good narration, BUT, most of the entertainment value is in the comedy of the commercials - which gets lost by the editing. Would be more enjoyable if the commercials are shown in their entirety after a short intro to each

Taco Town had to be on it or I was going to riot. That had me laughing so hard I was blowing snot bubbles. Ewww. There is a new kid in town for this list with Wing Pit this past week. Taco Town energy and absurditiy

I agree with this list, but you should have included the classic New Shimmer is Floor Wax and a dessert topping with Hilda Radner Dan Akroyd. Or the infamous Bass-O-Matic. who's with me on this?

buddweiser light's hockey ad featuring joe piscopo and robin williams was beyond outragous. cluckin chicken was a masterpiece as well. it was gob-- nobbitty good!

7: 45 all of the improvements are not by Mexican restaurantsits Taco Bell and others. My local taco truck has been the same, consistent and awesome for over 20 years!

How could you leave out the two best ever from the original cast? Dan Ackroyd selling the Bass o matic, and my personal favorite Spud, the Beer made from potatoes.

Does anyone remember the one that was for the digital Post-it notes? You were supposed to write on a piece of paper and then it turns into a digital message?
reply

Whoever did this video apparently thinks SNL pretty much didn't exist before the mid 90's. This is why I can't f'ing stand millennials.
reply

I like the Cookie dough flavored Gatorade commercial. If you decide to do more SNL commercial parodies you might want to include that one.
reply

The Schmitz Gay parody was ahead of its time - now if they had Dylan Mulvaney promoting it, who knows what would come of that!
reply

WTH? Im pretty sure the writers and cast of SNL dont need their work explained. Love the ads. Loathe this presentation.
reply

Hey, do you think you could shut up? Im sorry if someone convinced you that we care about what you have to say.
reply

Whack the voice-overs. I don't need a joke or sarcasm explained to me -- if I did, they wouldn't be the funniest!
reply

Why do these people spend so much time yapping. I stopped watching. Just show the commercials and stop talking.
reply

How could you miss the fabulous Martin Short doing a commercial for Elizabeth Taylors Diamonds perfume!
reply

How can you not have The Closet Organizer with Will Forte? I laughed myself silly just remembering it!
reply

Annuale will always be my favourite parody commercial! Those women are funnier than anyone Ive ever seen!
reply
