Ok, so let's talk about Coco vs Alyssa. My understanding with lipsyncs is that you need to be singing along with the music and not just dancing. Well. During the fast part of that song, we do not see Alyssa at all, I am guessing, she bombed it. I get a sense that lipsync is not Alyssa's strength, of course, dancing it certainly is! I also heard that when it was Roxxxy vs Alyssa, Alyssa wasn't lipsyncing much yet it was a double shantay.

this just feels like both queens did well, but with no real justification for most of these. sahara destroyed shangela, manila destroyed delta, carmen already got saved, kennedy outmatched katya in a lip sync dedicated to sahara, and coco sending alyssa home was the perfect ending to a bitter rivalry; a double shantay would have completely ruined the point. also, morgan and sonique only as an honourable mention? in what universe?

one lip sync that wasnt a double shantay, definitely didnt deserve to be one, but i still love dearly as if it were deserving, is bob vs. derrick. it was obvious that derrick needed to be eliminated, but the energy and chemistry in that lip sync has me in a chokehold. maybe its just because bob is literally perfect at everything lol, but still, it was a satisfying end to their rivalry-turned-friendship.

Ok Im biased but sugar and spices shouldve been a double Shantay, theyre so cute. Sure Im fine with them not winning but Id have liked sugar to have made it further than 3rd out. Although, as much as I love spice, she overstayed her welcome by 2 episodes

Joslyn Fox vs Adore Delano. Honestlyalthough I loved Adore and didnt want to see her go, Joslyn was arguably better at Aretha Franklins Think. Im glad Adore stayed but Joslyn deserved to stay, too. Even though Bianca was really the star.
