One of my favorites - not counting all of the Niles/CC insults - is from the episode Lamb Chop on the Menu. When Lamb Chop goes missing Fran tells Niles that Chester (CC's dog) ate her, CC walks in the kitchen and overhears, and Fran tries to get to Maxwell's office before CC can deliver the bad news. Fran and CC end up in a slow-motion race with the Chariots of Fire them playing in the background: )

It would have been helpful for me to have watched the episode about the wasabi, because I had the exact same experience with my first wasabi encounter. Unfortunately, my encounter happened four years before the episode, so it wouldn't have helped. Instead of mustard, I thought the green stuff was guacamole. Yeah, I too was just as generous in slathering it on my very first piece of sushi.

#1 spot hands down cannot be replicated or get the crowd howling in laughter. First time I watched it, I was cracking up big time as well. Even Niles came in to add onto the ensuing laughter! Thank goodness HBO Max finally got it on their steaming network.

Fun fact: two of the top ten are from the same episode. I wouldve included when Fran dresses up as a man to get into a mens club to keep Maxwell from investing with her boyfriend, who led her to believe he was a stockbroker when he actually sold hot dogs.

I always enjoy comedies that get the biggest laughs out of the leastschtick, such as a look or a couple of words. This show was filled with 'em, and Niles managed to get more than his share! Wish they'd do the reruns again.

My fav was when Niles had a heart attack and fran and max go have fun in the next bed, Niles wakes up realizes what is going on and gets cc to go and get him a pillow from that bed. I still love this show.
