I can't be the only person wondering in what universe Romy and Michelle was a romantic comedy. right? It was a buddy movie. If you are counting the nerd's crush on Michelle or Romy's unrequited crush on the popular guy that she blew off at the end that is quite a stretch. The movie was not a journey for either lady to find true love. It was about being yourself, true friendship and fashion. The dance sequence is pretty iconic though.

Grease seemed out of place because it was a musical. All the other choices were regular movies that had a dance number. I expected maybe Silver linings playbook ( although that was more of a rom-dram, same for footloose) Just my opinion. All that matters is you got #1 right

1st: the 27 dresses scene isn't a dance scene at all.
2nd: the Love Simon scene should actually be on this list, not just hon-men
3rd: the She's all That scene should be at least #3

I think so close is one of my favorite movies' songs of all time but I am so disappointed that the Enchanted dance scene that made it to this list isn't That's how you know Seriously that's the only scene I was hoping to see here

Do y'all even watch the movies you put in the lists. In She's All That, Usher literally says Do that dance I you meaning it's not out of nowhere. The one in Footloose though. that was the best random choreography at a prom

Thriller just has to be it! Of all these choices, this one is the best. But showing the Enchanted dance scene made me want to watch that wonderful little movie all over again. It was one of my favorites at the time.

I recently saw Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion after a long time. That movie is much better than I remember! So enjoyable! I laughed so hard at the dance scene. It was truly icing on the cake!
