I was wondering why haunted mansion and Tower of terror wasnt on the list until I remembered those rides already had movies LOL however unfortunately I believe that both movies for both rides are very underrated character is more not well known and the haunted mansion movie for some odd reason everyone I hear talking about it really dislikes the movie I dont really understand why though I dont know if its because of the CGI or animation or effects because I could see and I remember the movie very well before I lost my site and I thought the special effects were amazing for 2002 or if its the storyline which I think the storyline is very good and fits the theme of the haunted mansion ride very well if anyone knows why the haunted mansion movie isnt very well liked could they please let me know Im not saying that you have to like it Im just curious why people dont really seem to like it

Excellent video! Ill absolutely love the concept of Disney attractions stories becoming movies! I hope that the jungle Cruise film is successful. Hopefully they can start this as a trend in Movie! Each of the attractions you mentioned in the video I would see in a heartbeat as a movie. I would love to see the details of the imagination and creativity. Especially, for the extinct attractions such as horizons and the journey into your imagination with figment! It would be so awesome if it created a new fan base generation while bringing nostalgia to those who were lucky to experience those attractions.

How about a Animated Cinematic Universe Regarding S. E. A. 's, The Society of Explorers and Adventurers. Mainly since these 8 Attractions each would make Excellent Animated Movies and form an Animated Cinematic Universe regarding those 8 Explorers:
Fortress Explorations
Tower of Terror
Mystic Manor
Miss Adventure Falls
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Jungle Cruise
Soaring: Fantastic Flight
Jungle River Cruise: Curse of the Emerald Trinity

Hands Down My Number One I want to See is Figment, Hes such a Beloved character hes MADE to have his own movie AND all the possibilities with the Imagination AND he has his own comic series. After that Expedition Everest, Dinosaur/Countdown to Extinction It can be Jurassic park Meets Back to the future, Mystic Manor, Thunder mountain, space Mountain, Alien Encounter, Timekeeper, Mission Space and Phantom Manor

would loved to see fantasmic mixed with world of color as a movie(did always like the rides had their own stories and even felt like specials at times. :3) with a premise like mickey's phillar magic or sorcerers of the magic kingdom(have mickey, donald & goofy lose yen sids hat to maleficent and have to go through disney's history/include even the animated tv series to gather others stop the villains)

Wait why just one ride why not a movie where its sorta like the goosebumps movie where some dumbass does something to activate the disney rides or attractions or shows and they come alive and it takes place in the Anaheim disneyland during the morning and basically its gonna be feel like haunted mansion mixed with fnaf

Disney+ is currently producing a full series based on the Society of Explorers and Adventurers. This is an organisation that came from Disney Parks attractions and its lore. It spans all the Parks from Disneyland to WDW, Paris, Hong Kong, Japan.

big thunder mountain, expedition everest, and space mountain would make good movies
also maelstrom, horizons and alien encounter would also be great for movies and if there popular enough they can comeback as rides

A scene from the Journey into Imagination film.
Unknown antagonist: and who are you to stand in my way?
Man glances to his partner Figment who nods, puts on his top hat I sir, am the Dreamfinder!

I think you missed the boat on this list. If Disney is gonna try and make a movie about one of its rides. It will more then likely be about a ride that they have at both of the main parks. Not at just one.
reply

the great movie ride fantasmic spaceship earth sounds interesting that idea for space mountain even though it sounds dark sounds interesting and phantom manor and thunder mountain sound interesting too

Carousel of Progress is my husband favourite ride not just at Disney World but ride anywhere. He watches ride throughs & any media about it as well as we have lots of memorabilia from the ride.
reply

Personally I would love to see all of these have their own Movies, whether as animated movies or live action. But the Number 1 Ride I would love to see as a movie would be Mystic Manor.
reply

While it would be good as a movie, I think the Great Movie Ride would work better as a TV series. That way the plot wouldn't feel rushed and we'd get to spend more time in each movie.
reply

Number 3 is my number 1. Ditto for Alien Encounter. Also, I know we already have Dinosaur, but I would love a series about the Dino Institute. And don't forget Kilamanjaro Safaris.
reply

I love all of the classics like BTMR and Space Mountain, but it could also be good to make something based off a ride that people dont really know as well, like Grizzly River Run.
reply

Alien Encounter needs a movie. But to be R-rated, Disney shouldn't do it. I'm thinking maybe MGM should do it with a horror or sci-fi company.
reply

Honorable mention from me= SINBAD FROM DISNEY SEA TOKYO IN 2D animation with Alan Menken music, THAT IS ACTUALLY MY HAND DRAWN REVIVAL GOAL
reply

I would love to see a crossover of big Thunder mountain and splash mountain as well. For a movie. Same with Peter Pan and its a small world
reply

I used to be a huge fan If the space mountain comic book, i really think a novie following that plot. would be a box office smash
reply

Fantasmic would be perfect for a film. I've seen the show so many time that it would be amazing to see that as a film.
reply

If they turn Big Thunder into a movie, I hope they keep one imagineer joke from the ride: The Lytum & Hyde explosive company.
reply

Basically we just need to continue from Jungle Cruise further into the lore of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers
reply

Disney could base the Dreamfinder and Figment ride on the comic book series. I would love to see Steampunk Dreamfinder!
reply

I think Space Mountain should be made into a sci-fi space opera with a homage to Star Wars with epic space battles.
reply

I can imagine Figment as a cutie patootie and majestic little dragon instead of a puppet in the movie world
reply

Am I the only one that wants to see a film adaptation on the theme park area Toontown? (why not? Just saying)
reply

If there were to be a movie base on Journey into Imagination. Stick with the original. No matter what.
