Katherine is the life flood of The Vampire Diaries. Without her there wouldn't be no story to tell. Yes I know The Mikaelsons was the origin of all vampires. If Katherine had never had a child the Petrova bloodline would've ended with her and Isobel & Elena never would have been born. Not to mention if Katherine had never betrayed Klaus in 1492 Stefan & Damon would have died of natural causes in the 1930s. While this was solid it absolutely makes my blood boil that Julie Plec & Caroline Dries refused to redeem Katherine.

I don't remember the line 100% but something along the lines of If you want an omelette, you have to break a few eggs. the scene where Katherine beats up Jeremy while Damon watches. Or did she get Damon to do that? Been a long time since I watched TVD. Katherine was amazing in that show! and definitely the God, I forgot what a brat you are. Yeah, I love Steven R. McQueen as Jeremy so much. Katherine will always be THE QUEEN OF TVD.

I used to hate her but now shes my favorite character on TVD. Closely followed or maybe tied with Klaus. But she is so awesome! Shes badass, shes cool, shes sneaky, shes got such awesome lines, her style is so cool and awesome! Shes one of the most entertaining characters from the show! Whenever she comes on screen my sister and I get so excited! We actually screamed when she came on for the first time

Im literally in the middle of re watching TVD & just finished the episode where she died. Definitely a great villain & Nina Dobrev did a fantastic job playing Katherine. Human Katherine was also a badass (when she saved Jeremy from Silas, when she helped Caroline against Dr. Maxfield or when she helped Stefan to face his PTSD. Human Katherine was on the good path of redemption. Its unfortunate that the Elenas body swap and the Queen of Hell destroyed her character developpement

She was the main talked about character in season One, the 100th Episode Special was all about her, she was the final Boss the gang had to face in the final episode, and happily worked her way to manipulating the Devil himself towards his own death and Becoming the literal Queen of Hell
