All seasons had their moments for me, but in Seasons 9, 10, 11 at times I felt that the show was running out of ideas and just dragging on. Raj's breakup with Emily Sweeney didn't make much sense to me, also Bernadette evolving into a proper bully and Penny's career trajectory seemed forced and inconsistent. Showing Stuart as a lonely guy desperately craving for company (and exploited by others) was repetitive and frankly, quite insensitive. Season 12 was better than 9-11, but I felt sorry for Raj when his arranged marriage didn't work out, and Penny's last-episode pregnancy felt like having been forced upon, just to satisfy Leonard's 1st-episode prophecy about smart and beautiful babies. My favourite episodes are mostly from the first 4 seasons, but also 5th, 6th and 7th. So my rough ranking will be: 1) Ep4 2) Ep2, Ep3 (jointly) 4) Ep1 5) Ep5 Ep6 Ep7 (jointly) 8) Ep 12 9) Ep 8 10) Ep 9-11 (jointly)

I agree with some of your picks. However, i really don't know how you can analyze all of the seasons and not mention Sheldon's mother, Mary Cooper, Laurie Metcalf. Is it because she was a Christian? I am guessing so. She was a an occasional actress, but she taught Sheldon good moral values which really gave the show a balance.
Also, I think that The Adhesive Ducks Deficiency, is probably the funniest of the whole twelve seasons when Sheldon is trying to assist Penny dressing so that she could go to Emerg at the hospital. Sheldon was totally clueless as how to dress Penny and had to drive her to the hospital with a Learner's Permit. No mention was given to that, was it. And Leonard, Raj and Howard out camping was just a riot. That episode alone should have earned Emmy.
Glad that you didn't pick anything concerning their Dungeons and Dragons.

I would say that season 4 was the best, because it was the transitional one between the two TBBT eras. Before that it was a show about a group of nerds and the girl next door and after that it became a show about a group of couples who happened to be scientists. Oh, and it was also the season which got me interested in the show 10 years ago.
Truth is, all seasons were great (except season 8 maybe which I barely remember) with pretty much equal amounts of hilarious moments and character development.

Oh, and it was also the season which got me interested in the show 10 years ago.

2: 29 No reason given? The reason was pretty clear. The custodian was offended that Raj told his friends that she was an astro-physicist, implying that he looks down upon custodians. He further offends her when he tells her that he cooked food of her country, which isn't Mexico, and then he said it was Mexican food. Cooking for her may seem like a nice gesture but she was offended that he assumed which country she was from without asking her, and he guessed wrong.

All of them to me were equally good but unfortunately I only own Seasons 7-12 on DVD. Of these I'd rank season 7 as the strongest, than 12, with 10 being 3rd, followed by season 11 in fourth place and season #9 fifth. #6 through the worst, would be as follows: 6) Season 1; 7) 4; 8) Season 5; 9) Season 3; 10) Season 8; 11) Season 2 and finally, but still not bad, the halfway point - Season 6. That is pretty amazing material to watch with some fantastic actors.

I didnt think that Pria was a likable character but season 4 is #1 for me. It had the episode when Sheldon gets his online world of Warcraft account hacked. That is my favorite. It also had the episode where Leonard ends up sleeping with a wealthy donor. Sheldon was absolutely hilarious. The dialogue was comedic gold. I think that you can only decide this with two variations, first as a comedy that makes you laugh because you did not really know the characters and then as a funny soap opera where you knew all that you needed to know about the people and then you became more interested in their personal lives within the soap. I personally could only pick favourite episodes, not favourite series.

I agree that s2 is the best. It doesn't have any weak eps. It has some really funny storylines, including Penny's addiction to a video game, her fling with Leonard's married colleague, Ramona's pursuit of Sheldon as well as the actress who moves in upstairs & becomes Penny's rival. Best of all, it has no Bernadette or Amy.

Amy did NOT ruin Raiders of The Lost Ark. Indiana Jones was VERY important to the plot, the Nazis had to follow Indiana to Nepal. Because they didn't know where Marion Ravenwood was. And without Marion Ravenwood, the Nazis never would have had the imprint of the Medallion.

Actually we saw mrs wolowitz in 2 different episodes. The season 6 episode was the second. The first was in the season 5 finale when the camera was zooming out from Howard and Bernadettes wedding we get a shot of the entire roof and she is visible.

I can't watch any of the episodes with Howard being an astronaut. Schadenfreude has limited appeal to me in the first place, but the idea of him needing tranquilized in space and spooning an armadillo is just weird and OTT.

High point was definitely Leonard Nimoy Napkin. My second favourite was the men speaking Klingon while the women spoke Ubbi Dubbi.

Why did the writers not give Raj an ending? In his situation, he'd struggle to remain part of the group as the others would be busy & wouldn't want him as a hanger-on to their lives.
