I feel like Cecily got overlooked and deserves more roles featuring her many many performing arts talents.
I feel it appropriate after watching SNL since I was 8 to be always rooting for the ladies of SNL!
I have always wanted to see more of the lady SNL alumni getting movie offers and other roles, they are just all so wonderful and talented!
Hollywood & The Big Apple writers take notice of these girls and write GOOD, intelligent scripts for them!

. she was good but she rarely had the I'm doing this. very well. and effortlessly. very well! aura that McKinnion had. Strong was much more like an actually funny version of Kristin Wiig. Humor as drawn up by the Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator. I mean. let's just admit it: McKkinnon was a natural superhuman talent where Strong was merely very, very good yet somehow you could always feel a piece of her soul was exchanged for every great skit.

I can understand why this role wouldn't be in the Top 10, but to watch Cecily play Sharon in every paranormal skit with Kate McKinnon playing Colleen Rafferty -- Kate simply destroys all the other comedians with her performances, but there is Cecily with superhuman powers never breaking character no matter what coot-coot and prune shoot stuff Colleen says. THAT is a TRUE professional dedicated to her craft! Don't know how she could do it.

Great selection of Cecily Strong clips, and I fully agree with your number one pick! May I suggest an honorable mention of Cecily impersonating Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer? That was an awesome performance, right up to (and including) Whitmers accent!

I think her Goober the Clown bit was incredibly powerful and filled with personal emotion. For it being live it was charged with an amazing energy that I've not really seen on TV before.

She is so incredibly talented it is frightening. She inhabits her characters in a way most serious actors would be hard pressed to emulate. To top it off, she is gorgeous!
