Gilda, such a great talent and thanks to Jane Curtin too. Things and phrases stuck in my head: Just like my cousin Carlos Santana Roseannadanna always said. What do you mean endangered FECES? How can it be endangered. Hey Jane, you know when you rub your eye and you get that little blob and then you rub it and it disappears? Where does it go? Hey Jane, are both your things the same size? Jane loses it, rips her blouse open and says see for yourself Emily. I had so much fun when that show and it was funny.

I guess Mojo's and my ideas of 'success' and 'most talked about' are COMPLETELY different. Roxbury got 11% on Rotten Tomatoes; HARDLY successful. I never heard of David S. Pumpkins until this comp; HARDLY most talked about. Roxbury gets a tiny asterisk for almost doubling its budget, but that's not saying much.

SNL used to be so good. Its a crying shame Loren & his staff 0: 44 have gone woke. I thank God I saw it from the beginning. Through out the 70s, 80s, 90s & into the new millennium the show was so damn funny. The musical guest were awesome. Its just such a shame what SNL has become.

As David Spade said (that refuses to watch the skit of his best friend, the amusement that Chris Farley used his body for, was also the same thing that he hated most about himself and led to his misery to go off the deep end. So we laugh, as Chris was torn up.

I like your clips, but your constant interruption talks is very putting me OFF. we can see what is happening you dont have to explain it to us AT ALL, unless you dont want us to enjoy your clips then that would be another story

Has to be Put A Ring On It Beyonce' is great and that song makes the volume get LOUD. I don't know how that happens, the song plays and the stereo magically gets CRANKED UP!
reply

Better late than never I suppose! Just like with your segment on top musical skits for SNL you left out the classic SNL skit of Belushi and aykroyd The blues Brothers

Ok, this was a great list, but what about theae classics?
Christina Applegate teaching dance class
Tight Pants
Sprockets
Space Pants with Peter Dinklage

Lunch Lady and Chip 'n Dales are two of the best skits of SNL history. Chris Farley was a genius. There hasn't been a male cast member to equal him since.
reply

Yes, many great dance skits but the recurring Spartan Cheerleaders skits are classic gold thanks to Will Ferrell and Cheri Oteri. And the gem Lunch Lady Land.
reply

Love Chip and Dales a great pick for #1. It was a treat to see Gilda and Steve play it straight. Would have liked to see the Blues Brothers make the list.
reply

Sondheim! He didnt do West Side Story. It was Bernstein. Im sure someone has said this already in the comments somewhere, but I still wanted to add this.
reply

That is the funniest skit with farley and swayze of all time! Absolutely fall on the floor, till your peeing your pants and crying! Iconic! . Best EVER!
reply

Chris Farley and Adam Sandler were the BEST SNL ever had! No one has ever been that funny since. Maybe Eddie Murphy, Steve Martin and Gilda Radner, too!
reply

The sadness of it is realizing how many people in these particular sketches are no longer with us. RIP to all, and thanks for the many laughs.
reply

I think Keenan and the boys performing as the Village People during Collin Jost and Michael Ches Weekend Update should have been on this list.
reply

Swayze and Farley-- after years, I think Farley. To get on national t. v. and even comedically be compared to Patrick was a brave, gutsy move.
reply

Um, Stephen Sondheim was indeed the lyricist for WEST SIDE STORY, but the equally prodigious genius LEONARD BERNSTEIN wrote the music.
reply

I cant believe they left out Ann Margaret trying to throw away a wad of paper into a trash can! I havent laughed that hard in a long time!
reply

I don't get why the Chippendale's skit is criticized for its portrayal of body image. Chris Farley is clearly celebrating being fat.
reply

Its impossible to choose any favorite since you TALK ALOT and we dont even hear the music. wich its paramount for a dance routine.
reply

Dancning in the dark was played the day Gilda past when Steve was Host, I actually cried. what a lost of talent. RIP Gilda
reply

The Tom Hanks haunted attraction was not funny to me and I don't know why it was included in it. The rest was comedy Gold.
reply

How do you mention Sondheim and not give proper credit to Bernstein? It was the music that makes it great, not the lyrics.
reply

The best is when Swayze. Starts to copy Farley! At first I didn't think you were going to make it number one I was all WHAT?
reply

Oh I lament over the days when Saturday Night Live was actually funny SIGH brings back some really nice memories though
reply

Never been a Kristen Wiig fan.
Everyone else is great in this otherwise entertaining clip of a great show.

reply

so glad you picked my favourite it has a special place in my heart, it was fun, hilarious and yes a masterpiece
reply

Single Ladies is one of the top 3 funniest sketches OF ANY KIND on SNL. It deserves better than you gave it.

While you were singing I got stabbed in the head by a Puerto Rican Best line from Cobras and Panthers
